I eat sushi at least once or twice a week and have my go-to spots. I live near by Monkey Sushi and thought I’d finally give it a try. Unfortunately, the fish is mediocre. I hope they increase the quality of their fresh – I was hoping it would be good as I would become a regular if it was.

This place came highly recommended by a close friend and we gave it a shot. Though we weren’t blown away, but as first time trying omakase, this place was fantastic and set the bar very high! Every course was fresh and uniquely tasting. Chef was engaging and very conversational. The dinning environment was clean, comfortable and intimate. In addition to the set course, we were given unlimited orders of four different courses that weren’t on the set! Also the unlimited sale that never seen an empty glass. Needless to say, we walked out of the restaurant happy, satisfied, and full. Would definitely come again in the near future!

This was a Uber Eats order. The sushi was the correct temp, palette, but where the improvement can be made is increasing the font for rolls that only have 3 pieces and listing out all ingredients. For example red dragon roll: imitation crab and avocado inside and tuna topping. Some pieces are not going t get the shrimp tempura at all inside the red dragon roll. 2 orders of the Pressed Aburi Sushi will get you to be 60/70% full.

Absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect. The value for what you get is outstanding, and the food is simply delicious. The appetizers were incredible , setting the tone for an exceptional meal. The service was top-notch; our tea cups never went empty. Plus, they offer some rare sake that’s hard to find elsewhere, adding a unique touch to the experience. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

This place has decent omakase for a decent price ($120/pp). Omakase for 2, a bottle of sake, and 2 Sapporo beers came out to $360, including tax and tip. The sushi chef is very nice and explains what each piece is as it’s served. The service is great overall. I wasn’t a particular fan of the fish liver which were unfortunately 2 of the 16 pieces served.

This may not offer the most upscale environment compared to other omakase spots in the city, but the value, service, and experience are outstanding. Every course was well-seasoned and truly unique, with highlights included the Shirako stew, monkfish liver, Kanpachi, Otoro, Hotate, Uni, and more. We visited during their anniversary promo, which included free sake and additional nigiri course at the end, making an already fantastic meal even better in terms of value.

This is my second visit to Unique Omakase, took my friend over, we both were amazed by the quality of the fishes especially with such reasonable price!!! The owner aka the master chef is very friendly and knowledgeable about each Omakase he serves and always makes sure customers have no food allergy issues (most chefs don’t care to ask at all!) Even though there is prix fixe menu, the chef always surprises you with his own creations
Food and services worth a FIVE-stars rating. Strongly recommend this place!

Hats off to Unique Omakase. Chef Ken attended to my party and we went there for lunch but had the dinner Omakase menu instead. Chef Ken and our server was great. They were very attentive and all the dishes tasted very nice. They heard it was my bday and gave me a slice of cake at the end. Super sweet of them. Appreciate that kind of thought. Will be going back soon.
