First time in and we will definitely be coming back. David was very attentive and quick. We ordered lobster ravioli, a Cesar salad, and the godfather pizza.
Starting off, the vodka sauce on the ravioli dish was phenomenal. Perfectly creamy and seasoned, I can see why this dish is popular. I felt the shrimp were very meaty and not overcooked as happens sometimes which made for an overall enjoyable eat.
The godfather pizza though it did not come with sauce I can say you will not miss it. Very cheesy with the right amount of ricotta.
I always order a Cesar salad when available. This salad had me actually spooning the rest of the dressing from the bowl.
Looking for a good spot for something new to you or want to bring a special someone for a nice meal? I definitely recommend Moni’s.

The special dishes are amazing! I honestly think this is some of the best food in the region, and we happily drive far to eat here. The several gluten-free options of pizza and pasta are excellent! The restaurant and bathrooms are always clean, too. A major bonus: They allow you to bring your own alcohol (BYOB).

Such a cute and cozy spot with amazing Italian food! Anthony was our waiter, and he was fantastic—so attentive and friendly. Huge plus that they are BYOB, and they also have great specials to try! Everything we ordered was delicious. Can’t wait to come back!

Our friends told us about this place a while ago and totally recommended it. We tried it and I have to say that everything we ate was really good. The ceaser salad was good but did expect the sauce to be thicker. The lasagna was very tasty and love the way they serve it. The bread, what great taste that was. That bread was very soft and amazing, but please serve with bigger portion of butter. The mozzarella sticks were cooked to perfection. I just wish the ranch was more homemade for the great taste it has to work with. Thank you and will come back again.

I really love coming here for dinner. Their dishes are always well presented and are rich with flavor. Their dinner rolls are baked fresh and are always a favorite. If pizza is your thing, they have awesome pizzas and you really taste the toppings. I have been coming for almost a year and look forward to doing so for many years to come. Dave and Anthony always make me and my family feel welcomed. A hidden gem that needs to be enjoyed.

We had an order of the stuffed mushrooms, a specialty pizza, and a lobster stuffed ravioli with shrimp in vodka sauce. All of it was fantastic. I’m a bread fan and the garlic rolls were delicious! We’ll be going back for sure! David was our waiter and he is very attentive without intruding. Zero complaints.

Second time coming here, I got the stuffed mushrooms and garlic cheese bread to start, the shrimp scampi and the lemoncello cake with a cappuccino. Very delicious. Staff greeted me immediately upon entering, their sweet tea was just sweet enough not overly sweet. Appetizers came out hot but able to eat right away, nice and cheesy. The entree did not come too quickly just as I was finishing up with my appetizer which is great! I love that they waited because sometimes places will bring your entree when you’re still working on your appetizer and your food gets cold, so I definitely appreciated that it came just in time. The lemoncello cake was magnificent. Creamy, sweet with a little tang and moist. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting a quick lunch bite or even for family.

I cant believe I’ve lived in Ovilla for 10+ plus years and tonight was my first time to Moni’s. The food was absolutely delicious! We had the blackened salmon with alfredo. It tasted homemade. The spaghetti and meatballs were good too! Our waiter Dave was so kind. We are most definitely coming back again to try the pizza. Stop spending money at big chain restaurants and give Moni’s a try. I promise you wound regret it.
