I have worked at two monicals before, and this is the worst I have ever seen in one. The server forgot to ring in half of our order. This was no problem because I am understanding. The food came and the lasagna was missing two breadsticks, and it did not have premium blend or spices. It was very frustrating after waiting around 30 minutes for the pizza then getting your order placed in late, and it still not coming out towards liking. We had to grab our drinks ourselves with I have never seen during a dinner at monicals. The server was okay but seemed all over the place and not the nicest when it came to customer service. Our salads were also half full. We were not charged for our lasagna or other pizza that she forgot, but the service was still terrible. There were several other tables that came in after us that did not get helped till a while of sitting there, and even then they had to wait forever on drinks. They seemed short staffed, but could not completely tell. The server seemed to also not be completely trained on how to talk to tables or take care of them. We will never return to this location

Having moved from the area 5 years ago, I decided to stop in at an old favorite and get the best pizza around. Sorry to say, it is no longer anything near what I remember it as a sit down restaurant I would want to bring my family to. Walking in the door it is more of a lunch counter than a restaurant. I ordered at the counter when I came in, then walked up and got my own drinks.
There were bread sticks and pizza. May i suggest not holding on to the bread sticks very long before cooking, they tasted like the cooler. Now you can still make a pretty mean pizza so there’s that. Sorry to see the dinning room so empty.

Stopped in for lunch. There is no waitstaff at lunch. Place your order and pay at counter. I ordered the personal thin crust deluxe. Food came out within 10 minutes. Food was hot. Crust, since it is was thin, had a good crunch. I like crispy crusts on my pizza. The toppings were all good. Cheese not very greasy. The sauce was nice and had good flavor. All in all, this was a good pizza. The table we sat at had a film on it and was very sticky. The floor was also sticky. Not sure what causes that but I didn’t feel like it was super clean. If you are wanting a good pizza the food is good. Not sure how I feel about the rest of my experience.

Edit* went back for another lunch special and this time the inside was very clean, nothing sticky or otherwise messy. Food order came quick and was just as good as the first time. Upped my stars to 4.

Last few times I’ve been there the pizza gets a little worse. Today the pizza had almost no cheese on it. I’ve had frozen pizzas better than this. Might try another location in the future but I’m done with the Vincennes location.

They have good food, good service, and yet for some reason most days it seems pretty dead in there. It’s a good bite at a fair price. It would be a good spot for a dinner date! Good lighting too.

I was new to the app. I went in to pick up my pizza and the girl told me how much it was. I thought I had paid on the app and she said no you didn’t pay for it. So while I was trying to confirm that on my phone she starts yelling at me that I owe her so much money and after she said it about the third time I told her she needed to chill out and calm down and give me a minute. She was more rude than anybody that I have ever ran into in a restaurant. That being said the pizza was very good. I have dined at Monical’s in Olney, Robinson, Vincennes, and Terre Haute. Honestly this was the first bad experience I’ve ever had at a Monicals.

Went to Vincennes to do some Shopping and decided to have a Personal Please at Monical’s.

Since it was about 3:00 PM, it was very quiet, but the Staff took my Order at the Counter… then Served my Pizza and Salad at the Table I had Selected for myself.

The Server was Charming and Attentive… and both the Salad and Pizza were Perfectly Prepared and Presented.

I am Very Happy that I had chosen to have my Late Lunch at Monical’s and departed Fully Satisfied.
