I did a take out of garlic bread and pizza Florentine. This was my first time trying this place out. The staff was very friendly. I really liked the garlic bread except that the bread was a little too sweet for my taste. The pizza was very nice. It wasn’t greasy as you get at different chains. I would have loved to see non-styrofoam packaging though! Great place overall.

The food is great. Who doesn’t love a thin-crust pizza? Where you don’t feel like you’re chewing on dough bread all day. The atmosphere is calm, not a lot of noises around, and the service was great.

I arrived around 1 in the afternoon and was skeptical because there were no customers dining in. However, I was greeted and served promptly, and the pizza was flavorful down to the last bite. The restaurant is located in a shopping mall strip, so there is plenty of convenient parking. The interior of the restaurant is a little dated, filled with pictures of yesteryear. However, I’m sure people appreciate seeing themselves as kids or teens.

Me and my family come here every chance we get and it’s amazing but today 9/28/25 its not the greatest we waited 20 minutes before getting greeted, the servers wasn’t welcoming, we ordered everything we waited another almost 30 minutes for drinks when we were waiting for the drinks our bread sticks came out which left us waiting another 10 minutes for the drinks.
The server was unattentive, and there was no pre bussing. We waited about 1 hours for pizza to find out it was made wrong and had the wait longer. Ultimately today was a horrible experience also the bread sticks were cold. This has been by far the worst service I have ever experienced at any restaurant in Lafayette Indiana.

I’ve been going to this Monicals since it opened and was elated as this is the pizza I grew up eating as a child. Needless to say we’ve eaten and taken out from here many, many, many, times over the years. It is expensive and everyone I’ve ever talked to says the same thing but it’s our favorite and reminds us of home. I’ve been a VERY good customer over the years and have been doing their rewards since 2018 so the app says. We finally achieved enough points for a Family Pleaser which we’ve done before of course and it wasn’t on the app so I called the store and she confirmed it. I called in to order it a month later or so and of course they know nothing about it! Not the first time I’ve had trouble with the app hence the previous phone call to confirm it. When you are as good as customers as we’ve been in the past and there’s nothing they can do for you when it’s always their mistake there comes a time when you have to say no more! Well Monicals here’s to your great customer service, but no more!

While waiting for my windshield to get replaced ( ) I walked to Monical’s pizza for lunch and was seated immediately. I ordered the lunch special. Sausage and pepperoni pizza with mushrooms, bell peppers, and onions. Yummy. The 8″ thin crust was crispy. I will be back!! The picture is evidence of a delicious pizza .

Monical’s thin crust is simply amazing. My favorites by far are bbq chicken and buffalo chicken (with their amazing ranch sauce). I know some people say chicken doesn’t belong on pizza, but I say it sure does on Monical’s thin crust! They do it right. They also have a really good club where you can sign up and they email you new coupons at the beginning of every month, and occasionally 1-2 other special coupons for 3 day specials.
I will say that their breadsticks are really not worth getting. Very very plain. Just get the pizza. Also, their salads are decent, but not amazing. Again, I say get the pizza. I have, once or twice, gotten regular crust pizza, but their thin crust is why I go there. It’s excellent.

Food is good but the walls at the booths looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in YEARS! A little gross. Server was basically an order taker and food runner, no real engagement.
