We eat at different area Monical’s frequently. However, this was the best! The breadsticks were SO fresh, hot, and soft! The salad was extremely fresh and tasty, and the pizza was delicious! Our waitress was so nice and very thorough! We had an out-of-state friend with us, visiting from central Wisconsin, and he really enjoyed his supper! Thanks Villa Grove Monical’s for a great experience!

This location is constantly making mistakes. Living in a small town you don’t have many options. They forget items that are paid for. Give out cold food. Give out wrong food. And mess up your order altogether.

Pizza and wings are decent, the Italian beef was way too salty.
Frankly we keep coming here because it’s close and an order of magnitude better than the pizza joint in Newman.

Got the meatball sub and it was good. Very filling. They were out of cherry coke and Pibb extra. The place was kind of dirty. Looked like no one had swept the floor and the bathroom was dirty with a full trash can. Wait staff was adequate. Had to get my own soda refill. I like their pizza a lot and order it for takeout. Not sure I would dine in again.

The pizza was the absolute best Monical’s Pizza I’ve ever had. The pizza had fresh veggies and ample sauce & cheese. The breadsticks were perfect, they were hot and fresh from the oven and not overcooked. The salad was shredded finely, fresh and cold with plenty of cheese and tomatoes. The customer service from the staff was wonderful. They were quick to seat us, get drinks and take our orders. The waitress checked on us frequently and was very helpful. The cook even found time to come out and ask us how the food tasted! I can’t say enough good things about the Monical’s Pizza in Villa Grove!!!
