1/26 – stopped in on the way to a HS basketball game so was fairly early on a weeknight, only one other customer in the place. Waited on immediately, pizza on the table in about 15min, some wait on the check as server became busier as it got later. Overall, a typical Monical’s

Ordered some food to go. The pizzas were put in bags covered with foil so almost all the toppings stuck to the foil when we opened them. The staff seemed put out that I wanted to order food. One lady with a mask was vacuuming the front making it hard to hear the cashier. Staff told me the order would be ready in 20 minutes but took closer to 30. While waiting for the food, the employees were talking loudly at the counter.

High priced, small sized and it’s a guessing game if they will put any sauce on your thin pizza or cook it too well done. Today it was $26 for a on sale 16″ that they consider a large that had no pizza sauce in it. We really need real pizza in this town and central illinois

Great service with good food. My travel mate said the Buffalo Chicken thin crust pizza they ordered was delicious. The oven-fresh soft dough breadsticks with garlic butter I had were delicious.

The customer service was horrible. We didnt get asked for refills, as soon as our food got delivered we didn’t see our waitress anymore after that. I had to get our own to go boxes and go uo to the register to ask for pur check. I would understand if they were busy but it was us ans 1 other table.

My sister and I just left there without ordering anything because we were told to order our food before sitting down and had to ask for menu’s then the lady waiting on us at the counter turned around to the lady making pizzas ans said “your about to get hammered ” and she said “oh God “their was a couple waiting there as well,looked like she had a maybe 5 pizzas ready to put into the ovens, I said to my sister “can we leave because they don’t want us here” they heard me and said nothing just let us go

This place used to be good, now it’s regularly BAD!
I’ve tried so many times to communicate to the manager the issues they have and it may be ok 1 time but it won’t be the next! The manager herself said she didn’t understand how to read the tickets for toppings after they got my pizza wrong, exact words were “I don’t know, I’ll have to take this ticket home and study it” because it’s so confusing! This was after gaslighting me about what the ticket said when I have my own copy and telling me it couldn’t be wrong because their “best pizza maker made it”, unbelievable!
There was no, “I’m sorry for the mistake, we will strive to do better next time” with any of my calls. I only called because I know pizza here can be so good and I didn’t want to lose this place as an option.
If I hear there is new management, I may try again, but this place has gone downhill since probably 2021.
Here’s some of the problems I’ve had:
1) Wrong toppings on wrong sides of pizza (so many times)
2) Raw pizza dough in center
3) Can’t order garlic on pizza due to insane amount put on it (coming from someone that always gets extra garlic)
4) Delivery times crazy, over an hour
5) Crust so hard that they couldn’t and didn’t cut all the way thru it
6) Missing items from order (like dressing)
7) Salads made differently every time they’re ordered (they’ve since removed most salad options)
Also the pizza is entirely too expensive to be dealing with any of these problems, a large half one topping and half 4 topping is $30 before tax. Where is that money going?? Hire good help! Used to order every other week, now it’s been maybe once every month or 2 trying to see if they will work thru these issues. I’m done now, sorry for the rant but I have strong feelings here and have been trying for so long not to do this.

We showed up with a large party 30 minutes until closing time and they were extremely friendly and accommodating! It was the best service I have had in a very long time. Our waitress Desra was so nice and personable, always asking if we needed anything else. The kitchen was also very quick with our food. Very impressed with the food and friendliness of the staff.
