OK, here’s the deal, I saw those bad reviews before eating here, but this was the only place open serving food. It’s about 1:35 AM on a weekday right now. As you can see in the photos the tomato and onions are fresh. The burger was good and bun was toasted. Fries were crips and good as well. Everything was fresh.
It reminded me of In-N-Out (minus the spread). Don’t read those other bogus negative reviews as it almost kept me from eating here. Don’t hesitate going here if you want something quick to eat. The burger is the only thing I’ve had and it’s legit.

$8.00 for a piece of frozen pie is absolutely absurd, as it’s the same nasty tie they serve at their buffet. It’s cheap pie that come in a tin from Sysco or US Foods. Quality is horrible. Also, the people working at this place are very questionable…

Wouldn’t know how the food is. Purchased a package from the Casino that included gift cards of multiple sorts but everyone of them took multiple visits to guest services to correct. The 1 star rating is solely based off the treatment of the staff that was working at the register of the Mongo Bay Grill. Very rude to the point it upset us enough to the point of feeling our 1st visit here will be our last.

Food is usually pretty decent. Just the characters behind the counter is were the real stars are. Almost every time I’ve been there to order the past 2 years it’s gone down hill. I know the young her always has this reverse psychology. Where she acts nice to you but she sneaks in little comments and jokes to customers like she’s close to them. It’s like take me order and let me go. I don’t need your comments. Really wish the old managers would come back. The new ones like to hide in the back and not deal with thier customers and or employees. This is what I call a circus in the middle of downtown.

Anytime I get a certain cashier everything I order she cannot fulfill my request my husband is allergic to onions anytime I order a cheeseburger for him I always say no onions I’ve never had an issue she told me they stop doing that weeks ago funny I had just been in there two days prior and I got a cheeseburger with no onions. She told me I had to have everything on it or nothing on it that was my choice. She called over some other woman who confirmed it that’s a total joke. The last time I got hurt is my cashier there was something else we ordered that everybody else can do but she says we don’t do that. I do everything in my power to avoid this woman but when she’s the only one working there I don’t have a choice. It’s usually very late night when she’s working and all I want to do is spend my comp money and go home I’m not going to walk with her. The food is okay once again it’s a casino it’s not even a coffee shop it’s just counter service and go we’re sitting a few tables that are there that are never wiped down. I give it four stars I probably would have given it five if I didn’t deal with her. Everybody else that works there’s very friendly. And I rate things based on the environment like I’ve said before if you’re in a grab and go casino environment you’re not going to get five star food or dining. I would much rather eat this than something from a fast food restaurant. Very disappointed that their salads and their pre-wrapped sandwiches are made outside of the building now the chicken salad is made with the most disgusting rubbery chicken I’ve ever seen in my life. This is limited selections. They used to have the best salad they no longer carry that either. After 10:00 p.m. this is the only choice to eat at at the casino. All things considered it’s a four star

Cash experience. Unfathomably good food and an atmosphere like no other. Margetti ranch was the star of the show. An absolute must have when visiting the area. Don’t forget to bring photo ID if you plan on purchasing chicken strips.

Before ordering a burger(#2) made sure to ask if they could specifically be ordered m/r,,,, her exact response,,,,, “they’re ALL the same size” BUT cooked to order!! (She even wrote”lighthtly cooked”,,,, waited about 20 minutes( very timely) asked the supervisor before taking my order to the room if I could look at my burger( since the one prior was WELL DONE,,,BURNT LIKE A HOCKEY PUCK,,, only to hear her say ,,,, THEY’RE ALL COOKED LIKE THAT!!!! SMFH!! Never again!!! Poor poor food/service & quality!!!!!

Extremely unorganized. The people handing out the food is very very rude. She told customers to shut up and ignored us as we asked for an update on our food. We had to wait an hour for fries while people who ordered after us received their food quickly. They cook people’s food out of order and will have you waiting all night. I do not recommend.

Where do I start? Open 24/7, granted no other places for food are available in the latter parts of the night and early morning, Mongo isn’t just a last resort, but a haven. Truly exhilarating food, especially the burger, fries, chicken strips, and the worldly Margetti ranch. Mongo Bay was the highlight of my trip, and a place where laughs, memories, and thoughtful conversation was fostered. An ode to you, Mongo Bay.

Liz who called my order out threw my to go container on the counter, watched it slide and let the top pop open and didn’t asked if I would like a bag for my to go container. I got my food with the top open and it looked delicious. I ate part of it and I’m very satisfied with the taste and amount just not the customer service I received.
