We had been wanting to eat here for awhile. Finally got the opportunity today,Saturday. The food was very overpriced for what we received. The Buffalo cauliflower is $9 for 6 florets. $1.50 for each piece. Extremely overpriced but had a good flavor. The cornbread was a quarter piece for $8. It wasn’t special and tasted like jiffy mix. The brisket was $14 for half pound which equated to two slices. It was fine but nothing special. The pulled pork again was $10 and just ok. I wouldn’t recommend either of these meats. The Mac and cheese for $5 was the best value. If I order here again I’d definitely get that.

I was not disappointed. The sandwich had so much flavor, a hint of something spicy and the coleslaw was amazing. The brisket was super tender. The brussel sprouts were also a winner. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. I will definitely order from them again.

Yummy BBQ cooked mid-west/Texas style. However, many different flavored sauces are offered on the side. Ribs, brisket, and dry rub wings are all delicious. This is part of All Set Restaurant and Bar. Therefore you have the restaurant menu to select from, with vegetarian dishes, and their beer and wine list. Service was courteous and attentive on a late Saturday afternoon. It is conveniently located within downtown Silver Spring and parking.

So I was born and raised in N.C. so I know what pulled pork is supposed to taste like and Carolina BBQ sauce…First of all, there is too much fat in the pulled pork. I shouldn’t have to pay as much as I do for it to be half fat…the bbq sauce was ok. If you ever go to N.C., go to Smithfields Chicken n Barbeque…get the pulled pork, hushppies and coleslaw with their famous vinegar Carolina bbq…no fat in the your purchase

So … when I usually buy from here, I have a pleasant experience with the dry rub wings eventhough they are pretty overpriced for 6 wings ($20 for 6 wings!). However, I ordered these wings on a Tuesday through Uber eats and they were super dry and tasted as if they were at the bottom of the batch. Maybe on Tuesday they don’t put the same quality in their work as they do on the weekend… but I’m writing this as a reminder to please make your Tuesday food just as good at the weekend food.

NOT AN ACTUALL BBQ JOINT. Came here on the assumption it was an actual bbq place and – no it is not. Barbeque is supposed to be messy and greasy. This place had the appeal of a fine dining establishment which don’t get me wrong, is fine. The prices were above average and you you don’t feel like you get what your pay for -they have a seperate menu that was uninspired and had the bare minimum of what is considered bbq. They NEED their own place and a larger menu, the closest other place is Federalist Pig in DC and that is over 20 minutes away. They could be making a killing.

This review is for the new Money Muscle BBQ that is part of the Fryers Roadside on New Hampshire Avenue.
Horrible. We live down the road and this was the third time we tried this place. Both previous times were ridiculously bad but we gave it another go since it looked like they added Money Muscle BBQ and Pizza to the menu. The online menu for Money Muscle looked decent so we decided to try the BBQ this time. When we asked the cashier if the baby back ribs were good her response was “I don’t know…I don’t eat pork”. Pro tip…hire someone who knows your product. We ordered the brisket instead and it was bone dry and way overcooked. I ordered the chicken and specifically asked for BBQ chicken. They brought me out a piece of fried chicken with a side of BBQ sauce. I mean….what the hell? The fried chicken was also dry and it was apparent it had been sitting there for a while. The sides sucked. The coleslaw is vinegar based and dry with no flavor. The beans were honestly the worst tasting BBQ beans I’ve ever eaten. Just avoid this place. Terrible food–terrible service. Also, there were shady people hanging out at the CBD convenience store smoking pot in public which just added another layer of terrible to the whole ordeal since we had our young child with us.

This review is mainly about the logistics and service of this company. The food itself is acceptable. Nothing special. Silver Spring just doesn’t have good BBQ options, so don’t get your hopes up. I’m giving one star because Money Muscle BBQ isn’t available at All Set anymore (as of 1/19/25) AND YET neither of their websites have been updated. What kind of business operation is that? A business that likes to be inconsistent and waste customers time. So unprofessional.

We were both made pretty sick by Money Muscle this weekend. We suspect the smoked wings but who knows. It’s also not great bbq.

New customer Delivery! The brisket sandwich was tasty but the amount given was about 1/4 cup. So Overpriced ($17). There was no BBQ sauce on the sandwich and the bun was soggy. The sweet potato fries wedges tasted old as if they’d been under a heat lamp all day. The Bread pudding was meh…in taste. The portion was tiny for the amount of money you pay ($13). The Sriracha cheddar biscuits were ok but they weren’t fresh either. Lastly please label your sauces! I poured chocolate on the brisket bun thinking it was BBQ sauce since there was no sauce on the brisket sandwich! Go to Mission BBQ for your $ worth.
