We had our son’s graduation party here, about 50 people. The food was amazing and timed appropriately, the staff was friendly and prompt with everything. Aj was extremely accommodating with everything including decorating. I can’t thank you all enough. You made this even special and worry free.

I only ordered a French onion soup (worst I’ve ever had) and a literally blah caesar salad. It was far from busy and I waited 45 minutes for my food. I wear a uniform that resembles law enforcement, but is not ever related. I’m in sales/service. I felt as though they judged me to be of a political party that the owner did not approve of. Other patrons were loud about what they had on TV. Which should have been sports, instead of politics. Needless to say, I wouldn’t recommend the place….

Catered the Christmas party for my team of 10. Everything went perfect and was perfect! The team at Mondo’s was over the top kind, helpful, smiling and was great to work with. Highest of recommendation. Looking for a reason to have another team party so we can have that meal again. Thank you again for everything!!

We came to Mondos because the other to restaurants in Dunmore were very crowded, so we thought we would give the old Sals a try. We waited 1:45 minutes for 3 burgers and a pasta dinner there was only one other table of patrons in the restaurant area, the bar area was somewhat full. 45 min into the wait someone from the kitchen (not our server) came out to tell us they didn’t have that particular pasta. Once the food came, the burgers were mediocre and the meatballs in the pasta were cold (refrigerator degree cold!) all the while we sat there staff was coming out of the kitchen on one side of the restaurant and going through an “employee only” door on the other side of the room walking across the restaurant each time and this happened at least a dozen times in the 2 1/2 hours we were there, this seemed really strange to us. On the plus side our waitress was very attentive, it seemed she was the only one waiting tables in both the bar area and restaurant area.

Unfortunately you can’t give less than one star. I took my family last night. We were excited to try this restaurant. The first problem we had was that two of the four items ordered by our table were no longer available. I have seen enough Gordon Ramsay shows to know that isn’t a great sign for the restaurant. So we changed our order and waited. After close to an hour we asked about our order because my kids were rightfully getting restless. They said they were slammed (restaurant about half full) and would “move up” our order. We continued to wait. In the meantime the table behind us got their food (after waiting close to an hour) and it was cold. We waited some more and talked to the server again. After an hour and a half in the restaurant and no food, we left and went to McDonald’s. Not my idea or a relaxing night out.

Cozy bar/restaurant off the beaten path in Dunmore. Food was fantastic and service was great. Menu isn’t large, but there’s something for everyone. Will definitely be dining there again!
