I stopped here after hiking in North Cascades for dinner and we enjoyed the food. The service was the best we experienced on our 12 day trip. The spicy chicken was so good with the onions cooked on the hot plate. It was nice that that it came with a salad and rice. The steak with fries and veggies was also delicious. Everything was perfectly cooked. They also have a great selection of beer, wine, and cider! I did not get to try the dessert as I was so full after eating everything on my plate!
The place is quite spacious and there’s plenty seating. All the staff were great and prompt. The food came out quick and hot.

My wife and I lunch here. My Elk burger was just fantastic, the only reason I gave three stars is my wife had the French Dip and the smoke flavor (probably liquid smoke flavor) was just too much and over powered the sandwich. Other than that we had a good sit down and experience.

Coming back from a hike we saw this place. This place is well located for hungry hikers. We got the ‘cod burger’ and ‘halibut and chips’. The food had nothing special, almost flavorless (a lot of improvement is required). The coleslaw was just okay. The potatoes were the only thing in the meal that was okay. Unfortunately food overall is not good and pricey. The services was good, and the place looks good though.

Food was delicious! Outside appearance doesn’t do it justice. Prices are reasonable. Great place for eating after spending time in north cascades. They can accommodate dairy allergies. Service was excellent and so glad we stopped to eat here.

I was excited to go to this restaurant, being the only one is this little town … The place was quite amazing and the Korean Server lady was quick and friendly… The burger did not satisfied me, I felt and could be wrong but it seemed to be a precooked patty… I’ve just eaten soooo many burgers and worked with burgers that this one scented as a pre-cooked patty, but as I stated “ I could be wrong” .. The fries were fresh, but the cost $26 for a burger, with Tomato’s, cheese and an egg … Quite steep !! Oh well!! I wish this business success and prosperity, being the only ones on the outskirts of Cascade National Park …

Limited options in the area but wow, the food was really good. We came twice to eat. We had the steak (cooked medium – done perfectly), gyoza, spicy chicken (came sizzling out of the kitchen), and the Hawaiian burger. The servers are all very nice. Would recommend!

After our yearly camping trip to Diablo Lake, my friend group and I always make it a point to stop at Mondo!! It’s become one of our favorite traditions. This charming little diner is not only adorable, but the service is truly top notch. The staff are always so kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, you feel like family the moment you walk in.
The food is just as impressive. I always go for their Asian cuisine, the homemade teriyaki sauce is absolutely next level! But what really sets Mondo’s apart is their vast and unique menu and everything is consistently delicious.
Mondo’s is a 10/10 every single time. Can’t wait to go back!

Great service and huge menu, including beer menu. Food was kind of pricey but probably because it’s expensive to get ingredients delivered to this remote area. The fries were delicious! My elk burger and my husband’s salmon burger were tasty too. My friends enjoyed the bulgogi. The salad was good. The carrot cake was decent, but nothing amazing. Would eat here again if in the area.

Stop to grab a bite after hiking would definitely recommend we were greeted at the doors. Seated and got our order Taken quickly. I got the Kobe burger and was just what I needed. Fries came out hot and fresh. Do yourself a favor and come here grab some delicious food, my friend that’s a vegan also was very happy. They had a great selection of vegan friendly food.

This is one of two restaurants available on the way to Lake Diablo. At first you might think some dishes are over priced but given the location and the portion you get it is not bad at all. They are in line with what you pay in Seattle. We ordered a salad and burger. The lattice was very fresh without any dark spots at all. The burger was juicy.
