Unfortunately I don’t live nearby, but I will look for excuses to make it out this way to stop here again. The food was great. We ordered the fried rice, walnut shrimp, chicken and mushroom, and Monark Steak and that fed three of us well. All plates were delicioius, but my favorite was the Monark Steak. The meat was so tender and it was very flavorful.
The interior of the restaurant was beautiful and had a great ambience. My only regret was that we didn’t have more people in our party so we could try more dishes.

My new favorite. Food was great. Tried all different plates. Had a party of 6 and every single person enjoyed their food. Amazing!! Lettuce wraps were different as they were cold but AMAZING AND FRESH!!!

Monark is fantastic. I’m no expert on Chinese food, but it seems like they have a keen focus on making traditional dishes with some fusion optionality.

The service was really good, it was easy to get to and there was a lot of parking. I liked the ambiance and the restaurant was very comfortable and pretty. I did not like the food, however, and I didn’t think it was a good value. There were a lot of Thai items on the menu but it was more of a Chinese take on Thai food. The yellow curry was very off-putting and the vegetables had a weird glaze on them. Also, the pineapple fried rice was sickly sweet and also had a weird glaze on it. I just wasn’t impressed and probably wouldn’t go back.

My husband and I went there for lunch. We took advantage of their specials and everything we ordered was delicious. It is an elegant restaurant with big windows that face the fountains on the square. It’s a bit more pricy than Asian restaurants in the area, but the food is good. The service is a bit slow.

Maybe the worst Chinese / Taiwanese food I’ve ever had. Lukewarm watery flavorless wonton soup, mushy wontons, terrible egg rolls. If I were the owner, I would be embarrassed at this low level of quality.

The food here is very good.
Their lo mein is very good, their fried rice is amazing, and their Mongolian beef is solid.
Also had their wonton soup which is also good and their shrimp egg rolls, which where a little underwhelming but still decent.
Their prices are very reasonable considering the quality of ingredients they use and the freshness you can taste.
Customer service is also very friendly
Overall as an Asian bistro it fares very well to others in the area, but fall just short of the top notch ones found further out west towards SGV or even Hollywood. Nonetheless look forward to eating here again and supporting this local restaurant
