First time coming here and not as impressed as from what I’ve heard from other people, waiting along time for drinks and for food, food was half way decent but the roast beef hot shots had a lot of grizzle in it. Waitress only came twice, once to get our order and twice to bring us our food. We waited probably 20 mins at our table and finally had to get up and go to the register to get our check. Not a very good impression when you see the waitress sitting around at a table talking and laughing when your waiting on your check to go.

The outside appearance fooled us. Once inside we were seated and wait staff was quickly with us. We ordered 6 different meals including 1 breakfast. They were all excellent. Coffee was refilled. Periodic check-backs were made. Prices were reasonable. We will be back. Great place to eat.

We got there at 1:55, there was 2 family’s there and 1 guy. While waiting for our waitress (the only one they had) 2 other tables came in. We waited 20 min before our waitress came to ask us about our drinks, by then the 2 other tables that came in got up and left. It took another 20 minutes for our food to come out, we got a BLT and a bacon grilled cheese and one order of fries to split. The waitress seemed like she was doing one table at a time. Taking orders, bringing out food then moved to the next table. We ordered pie also it came fast. Took less time to cash out then anything else. It was good food tho. We drove 45 mins to get there. Was it worth the trip? Food wise yes, the waiting no. There was a call where 11 people were coming in at 430. The waitress told the girls in the back and there were like oh my goodness. Thought about sticking around to see how it goes. Or lending a hand.

Mona’s is one of my family’s go to restaurants. We drive about 30 miles for the boneless chicken wings- best I’ve ever had, anywhere. We usually order carry out but no matter how we get it, we are always well taken care of by the super friendly staff. Catherine is the best and I love seeing her when we visit. While the wings are definitely my go to, I’ve had a lot of the food and its all good. Never had a bad experience here. Highly recommend!!!

Today was our first experience here. I’m giving four stars because there’s room for improvement but the place has a lot of potential. I ordered the boneless wings special–6 wings with fries. I also ordered sweet tea and that was great. The food wasn’t bad but there wasn’t anything special about it either. The wings were a little bland, but the menu has many options including all day breakfast, which is always a plus. The service was excellent and the restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. I’d recommend the place and plan on going back.
