It is definitely a no frills restaurant and the decor is kind of odd, but the food is amazing. It’s mostly authentic and it has amazing flavor profiles, I was surprised to find it’s some of the best italian food I’ve eaten. The downside is there seems to be only one – very dedicated, very overworked – server, who is very sweet but obviously expect a wait with one server and a packed restaurant. I recommend the ravioli highly.

Authentic Italian entrees featuring home-made pasta. Small restaurant, currently with one server, but the wait time and service was still excellent. Dinner comes with warm bread and side salad. I ordered the chicken with mushrooms over angel hair pasta, my partner ordered the Zuppa seafood dish with clams, shrimp, scallops, and penne pasta. We both had a glass of the house Merlot. Excellent dinner!

First time at place. Had a little wait, but was worth the wait. Restaurant was full and just TWO people running the whole thing. Food was good and generous amount. Great flavor in the sauce.

The best Itailian restaurant in Hendersonville! Intimate setting with friendly and knowledgeable people. Sandy makes you feel right at home and every meal a special occasion. The angel hair pasta, lasagna, chicken Alfredo and parmagianas, all are incredible and their Florentine blackened steak is outstanding!
We had a very special dinner again at Mona Lisa again last night. Small, intimate atmosphere, delicious real Italian food with a bottle of wine capped with a Happy Anniversary confection and a demitasse espresso. Just Wonderful!
We are going out less and taking out more. The Chicken Alfredo and Rack of Lamb are so good and so far beyond my cooking skills that calling Sandy to place our order has become almost a weekly treat.

Second time in this wonderful truly Italian restaurant. I cannot get enough of this delicious food. They are the best if you are looking for truly Italian food. Highly recommend this restaurant. Did I mention the food is wonderful also the service is top notch.

Great food, service is slow because of the lack of waiter’s small menu but great tasting, good value and won’t leave you spending too much. We got there at 5:30 on Friday night and able to get a table for 4 and by the time we left at 7:00 it was full with people waiting outside. Suggest making a reservation

1 server who was over worked without help, the bread seemed like it was bought at Ingles and dipped in garlic butter, tomato sauce for the Chicken Parm seemed like it was from a can, little seasoning, the noodles were definitely not homemade but rather seemed like it was bought from Walmart. Dirty dishes at every table because the 1 server couldn’t keep up. Olive garden puts this place to shame

Cozy and tucked in a corner strip building with no outside view. I would love to suggest an updated and fresh renovation of the interior. Remove the material from the walls as it is collecting dust, texture all the walls and paint a lighter color, trim in the same color as your floors. Pull everything out and polish the floors. Ditch the vinyl tablecloths, remove the window art and clean the windows, particularly those with tables up against them. You could have a beautiful place to match your yummy food.
We were in last night for dinner. My husband ordered the small 4 seasons pizza and I ordered the eggplant parmigiano with a Caesar salad. The soda machine wasn’t working so we just had water. There was an added $5 charge for my salad. A little surprised to be charged ala carte when the menu stated it came with that meal. Overall, the food was good and our server was attentive.
