I ordered pizza and a hero on the Slice app for pickup, but it defaulted to delivery. I called and had it switched to takeout. When I arrived, they told me it had already gone out for delivery anyway. I waited 10 minutes, the food never came back, and they refused to refund me or remake the order.
All I wanted was a simple takeout order. Instead I got attitude and lost $40. I won’t be back.
This was absolutely unbelievable. We ordered pizza for delivery and it arrived ICE COLD and tasted like cardboard. Completely inedible. Instead of enjoying our meal, we ended up dealing with the most disrespectful behavior I have ever experienced from a business.
We called calmly to ask if there had been a change in ownership and requested to speak to a manager. The person who answered claimed he was the manager. Rather than apologizing or offering any solution, he rudely told us that if we didn’t like their pizza, we should never order from them again — then HUNG UP on us.
When we tried calling back, they BLOCKED our number. Just like that. No accountability. No refund. No professionalism. We threw away $28.00 and were treated like we didn’t matter at all.
This place clearly does not care about its customers or the quality of its food. Save your money, save your time, and order literally anywhere else. This was the last time we will ever order from here.
Delicious!
The owner and the girl at the counter were really cool and sent me home with some Sunday sauce that just came off the stove. Can’t wait to try it. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Jackson.
Not only is he a master of his craft—his pizzas are a work of art—but he’s also incredibly kind, patient, and yes, undeniably handsome. My nephew Mikey was overwhelmed by the mouthwatering variety of pies on the menu, and Chef Joe stepped in like a culinary superhero. He walked Mikey through the options, asked about his favorite flavors, and helped him land on the perfect choice: a crispy, golden slice topped with just the right balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings.
Watching Mikey light up with excitement was the highlight of our day. Chef Joe didn’t just serve pizza—he served up a moment of connection, care, and joy. That kind of hospitality is rare, and it deserves to be celebrated.
If you’re ever in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by Mona Lisa Pizza. The food is phenomenal
We were hoping we would find our forever new pizza place but that wasn’t the case.
This is what we received on our first delivery (ALL Cheese was stuck to the box)
When we called to inform the restaurant I had spoken to Joe he did apologize, but he cut me off, saying he had a line of customers that he needed to take care of as if I wasn’t a customer did not give me a refund nor did he send a new pizza and I told him that I would send him the picture of my pie but he refused.
One & done ✅ with this place.
Really truly wanted a delivery place but we tried Brooklyn Square our first day here and it was phenomenal. Definitely worth the drive. Forget delivery!
If Da Vinci had traded his brush for a pizza peel, he might’ve crafted something as sublime as the pie I devoured at Mona Lisa Pizza. From the moment I walked in, I felt like a cherished guest in an artist’s studio—where flavor, warmth, and precision converge.
Let’s start with the pizza: a golden canvas of crisp-yet-pillowy crust, kissed by fire and layered with intention. The sauce? A symphony of ripe tomatoes, subtly sweet with a whisper of basil. The cheese melted like a sonnet—stretching, bubbling, and blanketing each slice with creamy richness. Every topping was thoughtfully placed, not scattered, as if each olive, pepperoni, or mushroom had a role to play in this edible opera.
But the true masterpiece? Talia.
Talia didn’t just serve me—she anticipated me. Her presence was calm, confident, and kind, like a seasoned conductor guiding the evening’s performance. She fulfilled every need with grace, from customizing my order to offering genuine conversation that made me feel seen, not just served. In a world of rushed transactions, Talia reminded me what hospitality truly means.
Mona Lisa Pizza isn’t just a place to eat. It’s a place to feel. To savor. To remember.
If you’re searching for a slice that transcends the ordinary, and service that feels like a warm embrace, look no further. This is pizza elevated to poetry—and Talia is the soul behind the smile.
