This place is crazy busy, but for a good reason. The food slaps!
Huge espresso fan and their lattes were very good and not too sweet. Got a brisket sandwich and a mushroom wrap which were the highlights. Two drinks, two sandwiches, and two pasties came to be $54. Parking is paid street parking which could be difficult for some. Order at the counter and it was busy, we had to wait a bit for a seat at a communal table.
Randomly selected this cafe from a quick google search when driving from Killington to Loon and we were delightfully surprised.
I’d definitely recommend if you find yourself in the Woodstock area!

☕ Mont Vert Café – A True Woodstock Gem
When we think of a charming little café, Mont Vert Café immediately comes to mind. Located in one of the most beautiful towns in Vermont, this spot is an absolute delight for breakfast or brunch.
The space is cozy, welcoming, and full of character — the kind of place where you want to slow down and truly enjoy your morning. We loved the avocado toast, fresh and perfectly done, but our favorite was the salmon bagel with seeds — flavorful, well-balanced, and absolutely delicious.
And we can’t leave out the drinks: the ginger cookie chai latte ❤️ — comforting, and perfectly spiced.
A must-visit when in Woodstock. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Mont Vert Café is the kind of place that stays with you long after the last sip.

Basically everything you want from a coffee shop. They have created plenty of cozy spaces for people to sit and enjoy good fresh food or a really nice cup of coffee. There’s a large food menu with vegetarian options. Staff is friendly and it was a lovely way to spend a few hours on a Friday afternoon.

The best lunch spot in Woodstock! My girlfriend and I were driving back from Killington and stopped for lunch. Right when you walk in, you get the feeling that this place is special. Family owned, family loved. The cappuccino was fantastic, but the star of the show was the coffeehouse brisket. You can taste the freshness, amazing sandwich! The sausage and cheddar soup was also phenomenal, i want that recipe!!

We swung by this quaint little spot in downtown Woodstock. I normally don’t give five stars for walk up service. The baristas were amazing. Quickly our food arrived. Everything was amazing.

Mon Vert Café is an absolute gem. The atmosphere is cozy, bright, and inviting—perfect for a relaxed breakfast or lunch. You can tell right away that everything is thoughtfully sourced and freshly made. I had the avocado toast with a poached egg and it was beautifully done—crisp bread, flavorful toppings, and perfectly seasoned. The coffee is excellent too—smooth and strong, just how I like it.
The staff was friendly and attentive, even during the busy morning rush. There’s also a nice variety of vegetarian and gluten-free options, which is a big plus. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or lingering over a latte, this place hits all the right notes. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Woodstock!

Had a long line when we showed up but it moves very fast. I appreciate them using local bread and ingredients when they can. I got the brisket sandwich, the brisket was kind of dry which having lived in Texas I was disappointed by. Otherwise the service was fast and my bf liked his cappuccino. Unfortunately I do think this place is a little overpriced. After tax our bill was $40 and we only got two sandwiches and one cappuccino. I think that’s a bit steep. Overall I liked it but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back.

Want to start by saying if you come during the peak season in the fall expect a wait. I came the first weekend in October and based on reviews I’d read before coming I knew it’d be very busy and I’d have to wait so I didn’t have an issue with that. I had the sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and the maple latte, they were okay but I didn’t think it was worth the high price or the wait.

This restaurant was recommended by a dozen TikToks and reels, praising their food and how this was a must. Spoiler alert: for us, it wasn’t. Mon Vert Café consists of long lines until you order and bland food.
I will say this though: their pumpkin spice latte was incredible.

I stopped in for breakfast while staying nearby attending the Flow State mountain biking festival. I loved the how the coffee shop was setup and also their decor! The service was super friendly. Coffee was very good as was the lox bagel I ordered. The main street it’s on looked very nice, too. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in town riding my MTB somewhere nearby!
