Truly impressive!
A paradise for chocolate lovers — all kinds, in every form, from all over the world.
I found new brands of my favorite kind dark chocolates with sea salt, each one from a different origin.
The store is spotless, well-organized, and beautifully presented.
Service was excellent: the person who helped me instantly understood what I was looking for and offered two different recommendations.

It’s the kind of place where you go in just to look and leave with a smile and a little bag of joy. It made me happy, it doesn’t feel like a typical store, more like walking into someone’s personal collection of high quality chocolates they truly love. There’s so much to look at, from beautiful international chocolates to really thoughtful local finds, you end up discovering things you didn’t even know and I travelled and lived in those international places. Even when it’s busy, the shop still feels cozy, super friendly, like something real good is happening to your inner most childish soul.

Very wide variety of chocolates from all over the world. There’s baking chocolates, cocoa powder, and even marshmallows.
Everything from ones you can get in grocery stores to the trendy Dubai chocolates.
A bit more expensive, but that’s expected.
The employees were helpful.
Parking is a bit hard, but it’s on the strip, so street parking is the go to.
I thought they made the hand dipped ones in house, but they get their hand dipped chocolates from Asher’s in Souderton, PA.
Also, no plastic bags. They sell paper bags for $0.25 each.

Been there many many times before. Worst service ever. Owner sat behind counter on computer with zero regard to help us. Staff was uninformed and did not what they were doing like it was their first day. Repeatedly pickup up items that were expired. Said loud enough for all to hear but no one cared or removed from shelves or offered me fresh ones. We were the only ones in the store. Love going to store. Great selection of chocolates and other candies from all over the world. Loose dark chocolates are some of the best anywhere but will have a hard time going back when at the strip district again. Such a shame for such a great candy shop.

I have purchased products from this establishment several times, and each time I go, I am met with the same attitude of indifference. Besides unpleasant service, the English toffee did not meet my quality standards. It tasted stale. Also, other items in the store are overpriced. If you want an excellent product and pleasant service, walk past Mon Aimee Chocolat on the strip in Pittsburgh. The French name, Mon Aimee (my friend), is misleading. In summary, save your money. You’d have a better experience buying chocolate in a fish market. It doesn’t please me to write a less than flattering review. The first negative experience you chalk off to a person having a bad day. The second bad experience you begin to see a pattern. The third bad experience confirms your initial thought. Satisfy your chocolate craving in a place that appreciates you.

Great selection of chocolate. Terrible service- is it a bother when customers come into the store? It’s better you don’t interact than be rude.

Great selection and chocolate, they aren’t always open when they say they will be, go in the middle of their hours if you really need something.

Wow! This shop is a chocolate lovers fantasy. The store is packed with artisanal chocolates from around the world produced by companies that are mostly small and, as you’d expect, produce small batches. You’ve never experienced such a selection. While some chocolates (mostly bars) are reasonably priced, many are quite expensive. The excellent staff can guide you to the options that are most compatible with your taste and wallet. You’ll find both great traditional and exotic options.

Quality chocolate and an excellent selection. Mon Aimee has chocolate from virtually anywhere in the world. You’ll find some from Europe (France, Germany, etc), South America, Africa, and even some local brands like A519 and Lux Chocolate. They also make their own chocolates and truffles.
Parking can be a bit of a struggle. There’s a space near the macaroni factory, though. I tried their coconut toffee macadamia nut truffles, 5 pieces of A519 assorted bonbons, and a Ritter Sport milk chocolate bar with raisin and hazelnuts. The Ritter bar (a German brand) reminds me of the Aldi milk, raisin, and nut bar, but in a good way. Creamy chocolate and plenty of raisins.
The bonbons were pretty standard, but what truly made them stand out was not the taste: it was their beauty. The design is truly excellent! The craftsmanship is evident. Their own products are great, too. It was chewy and moderately sweet. The Lux almond, macadamia nut, and coconut bar is also very nutty. It’s not quite chocolatey and rich for me, though. Only element of the store that was a large drawback was the price: it’s not cheap. But, it’s great chocolate for gifting (or indulging).

Absolutely incredible selection of chocolate bars. A lot of direct trade, slave-free brands are sold here in a lot of different flavors. The Mission Chocolate bars are all excellent, Fossa has exotic flavors, they even had the giant Omnom caramel crunch bars! If you like craft chocolate, this is the store for you. The bars are more expensive than Hershey’s because many of the brands pay their partner farms and employees a living wage and source from slave-free cocoa farms. A cute store and it seems like the woman who runs it knows her stuff!
