Delicious! had the tofu Pad Thai, edamame, & a cocktail. My daughter had the fried ice cream and bananas, she loved it and she’s a pickier dessert eater. Everything was great. It’s such a cozy little spot with friendly service and I will definitely return.

Came in late (10 pm) on a Saturday evening after catching a movie. This place was recommended by a co-worker and I’m so glad we decided to stop by. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was literally top notch AND QUICK!! When I tell you it wasn’t even 10 minutes between the time that we ordered to the time it was set before us! The flavor was on point and I LOVED the optional spice levels. The photos don’t give it justice.

This was my first time here. The vibe inside is nice and it’s well decorated. Ordered from the drink menu and had an awesome drink. Both are meals were great, got the Bangkok Chicken and only stuck with level one of hotness. That was just enough to really enjoy the meal. Probably try 2nd level next time. Portions are big and our appetizer was delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. I would go back.

The food and portions are very good.
No problem with service either. I was there, for lunch, with my coworkers last week. It was very cold inside. I didn’t like that part. Everything else is fine. This is my 2nd time eating here. I’d definitely return.

If you’re looking for a spot that combines incredible flavor with genuine hospitality, Mom’s Siam is it. It’s rare to find a place that feels like home, but the owner here makes it happen—they actually recognize me and already have my drink and food order ready before I even sit down. That level of service is hard to find.
The Standout Dishes
Fried Chicken Dumplings: A must-order starter. Perfectly crispy on the outside and packed with flavor.
Khao Soi: Hands down, super good. The balance of spice and creaminess in the curry broth is spot on.
Chicken Pad Thai (Pro Tip): This is a staple for me, but here’s the secret: add pineapples. It adds a sweet, acidic pop that completely sets the dish off and takes the traditional flavors to the next level.
Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, the food and the vibe here never miss.

My family all really enjoyed our meal. Everything was delicious (*we consider ourselves “Thai Food Lovers”)! Our server (forgot his name… he’s from the Blue Ridge Mountains area) was truly lovely and perfectly attentive.
We ordered apps Gyoza and Num Tuk, Drunken Noodles with Crispy Chicken, Pineapple Fried Rice and Curry Duck.

Service was great. The food was excellent! We all loved our dishes. The worst part was the heat. No air conditioning so we almost left to another Thai place.

Place was closed for a while because the staff went on strike. It re-opened. We ordered delivery tonight (1/17/2026). For the price, $22 + tax & fees, there was not that much food in the entrees. Decent quality, good flavors, but underwhelming for the price. I suppose the staff is now making a living wage! Previous experiences have been good. Always solid food and family friendly. Just not worth it for delivery.

I stopped in while on vacation and just like I expected this place was phenomenal! Great food, great service, fast kitchen and all around great atmosphere. A must if you love Thai food and a place I’ll be coming back to if I’m ever in Richmond again! Do yourself a favor and get dessert. I highly recommend the mango and sticky rice, amazing!

Their pad thai is easily one of the best I’ve had. The combination of tender chicken, plump shrimp, and silky noodles is spot on. I also tried the calamari, and wow—crispy, golden, and not greasy at all. Everything was elevated by their rich and refreshing Thai iced tea, which balanced the flavors beautifully.
