I just happened to pop in yesterday and tried the jalapeno poppers and buffalo chicken bacon mac bowl with two drinks. The mac bowl for me was where it was at. My taste buds went on a wild ride, and I loved every minute. The service was great and friendly. I came in solo, but I had a blast. Definite recommend.

We stopped here to watch the Super Bowl while visiting from out of town. I understand this is a college dive bar but I think they need to try a little harder. No paper towels in the mens restroom the entire night even after telling a bartender, couldn’t get service unless we made eye contact with the bartender who would then walk over, and was mostly empty by the time the game was over. No complaints on the food and beer but expected more from a sports bar during the Super Bowl.

This is one of the best place in Gainesville for a fulfilling meal! We have been here twice and had cheese burger and chicken sandwich and they were delicious. We had lemon pepper wings the first time and teriyaki chicken wings the second time and both were tender and delicious. They have offers on different food items everyday of the week which is a plus. There is a live bar and there are multiple screens throughout this outlet so its a chill place to come and hangout with your friends and family.

Certified hood classic. The fish sandwich was beyond good. Perfectly cooked with homemade batter and coleslaw, shattered my expectations and left me stunned. I think I might have hurt myself to finish it, but well worth. A Gainesville classic and an absolute must, if you want good drinks and great food.

It’s a college dive bar, but it’s somewhat of an institution… We’ve stopped by to see our daughter and her friends and had a couple drinks and bar food. We stopped after the Kentucky butt whuppin, 10/19/25, and had wings and a couple of beers for a nightcap! Wings were cooked good, service was a little slow. Will come back periodically and enjoy the college dive bar atmosphere.
