This place is definitely a 10/10! The food is and cooked perfectly, it was fresh, it was ALL hot, EVERYTHING was seasoned and so tasty! My husband said it was the best biscuits and gravy he’s ever had and he takes that serious. The restaurant itself has gotten a HUGE facelift and expanded in size to multiple dining rooms and outdoor seating, which good for them. It looks absolutely beautiful and clean. Today, Monique was our waitress. SHE WAS SUCH A GREAT WAITRESS! She was attentive, SUPER friendly, bubbly, helpful and she was ON POINT, we didn’t need anything and enjoyed everything even more because of her! We were lucky to have gotten to sit in her section for our first visit back in a while and definitely will be asking for her again!

This breakfast spot was an absolute must-try—and it did not disappoint. From the very first bite, the food was simply divine. The ambience? Warm, inviting, and perfectly set the mood for a great morning. And the cherry on top: our waitress, Terry—so friendly, so sweet, she truly made the experience unforgettable. A breakfast worth waking up for.
POV: Parking can be challenging, especially on weekends. Also, the waiting time is long. So, be friendly and polite, and go with the flow and not in a rush.

Great food and great service. Our waitress Terry made our lunch quick and easy, and her recommendations were spot on. The Eggs Benedict was excellent, and my boyfriend really enjoyed his “Big Boy” meal. Definitely a good lunch experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Mom’s Kitchen – Fort Lauderdale

Our waitress Priscilla was amazing — friendly and attentive! I had the Breakfast Mini with French toast, and my husband had the Big Boy with some bussin’ home fries and grilled kielbasa. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. They had our favorite hot sauce as well. My coffee was delicious too!
Good vibes and good food all around — definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to! ☕

Everything from the clean dining area, to the fast and friendly service and of course the delicious food. We loved our first trip to Mom’s Kitchen! My fiancée had the Huevos Rancheros which were incredible (I might have stolen a bite or two), and I had the Meat Lovers omelette. How can you beat Corned Beef, Pastrami, and Brisket wrapped into a 3 egg blanket of bliss. Big thank you to Priscilla for taking excellent care of us! Can’t wait to be back soon!

MAN – if you are looking for a breakfast/brunch/lunch hot spot – THIS IS IT!

I’m a bit pissed at myself having lived here for so many years and just now discovering this gold mine! What an amazing menu.

Hostess greeted me immediately with a smile and warm welcome (thats a big thing for me…if I’m coming to your “home” and the welcome is subpar, then I’m already sketch about the experience.

I had Darcy taking care of me. She was a peach, real sweet, strong menu knowledge, personable.

I began with a House Bloody Mary. It was a made-from-scratch bloody Mary. I find that some breakfast and seafood places go way overboard on the horseradish. NOT THIS ONE! I nice flavored rim, two olives, lime and a pickle slice. Very complimentary and went down smoothly.

Andrew, the restaurant manager, stopped to check on my experience and recommended their house Sangria. WHATTTTT? I’m not a wine, sweet drink drinker. But THIS? PHENOMENAL! Not overpowering on the vino side but not also overly sugared down. They have NAILED the right mix of fruit and wine to give you exactly what a sangria should taste like.

I started with the Mom’s Egg Bites: one with smoked gruyere, bacon crumples, and crispy tater tots, one with egg whites, spinach, peppers, onion, feta and portobello, and one with roasted pepper, gruyere, Chipotle and jalapeño. Three different flavors and they were fantastic! Each flavor was unique and for me, its a toss to between the Chipotle and the one with the tater tots. Lit my taste buds on fire – in a good way of course.

Now look, I’m a huge eggs Benedict fan. Many times you find places that “supposedly” make good eggs Benedict. But you find the eggs overcooked, sauce too runny, no flavor in the hollandaise.

NOPE! NOT AT ALL! NOT HERE! The Benedict came out, the sauce was thick enough to not be overpowering but still offer the flavors you find in the hollandaise. And it was quite good. Then I did THE TEST – Cut into the eggs, eyes closed, praying that the yolk would come out sprinting – AND IT DID! WOOHOO. The eggs were poached perfectly.

But that’s not the final test…oh no. I’m also a big grits guy. Again, places that serve breakfast get sloppy with grits…either too runny or caked up like 5 year-old play-doh.

THESE GRITS WERE EXCEPTIONAL! Thick, creamy, right blend of cheddar (you can get them plain or with cheese – for me, anything with cheese is better) and I actually ate the entire cup, which I also don’t normally do. But these grits were RIGHT ON THE MONEY!

And of course, since Christmas is right around the corner, I had HAD to try the salted caramel cake.

I dont think I need to tell you how spectacular that was. If you can’t see it in the picture, then bring your tails here and try for yourself – THE WORKS!

From start to finish, Mom’s Kitchen is exactly as the name implies…like sitting in your mom’s kitchen telling you to sit, I’m gonna make you some really amazing food that’ll have you wanting to sleep for hours after because of the level of contentment you feel afterwards.

If you are looking for an amazing place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, this is your place! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Upscale diner in Fort Lauderdale was a big hit for our mid day work lunch. Mom’s Kitchen brings the comfort of a home cooked meal with a diner atmosphere. Topper they had root beer floats ♥️ Julie was attentive and made sure all our needs were met through ordering and getting our meals. We will be back!!
