Everything about this place is just phenomenal, from the employees, with their high energy, spunk, and attention, to their amazing high quality food. The hollandaise sauce was to DIE FOR, absolutely delicious and the bacon, pancakes, eggs, just beautifully cooked. Our waitress was the sweetest person with fun energy and good jokes! If I could give yall ten stars I would!

This was the most wholesome place!! Definitely have to have the hot mama which is a cinnamon roll turned into a breakfast sandwich and a fried muffin. My friend and I came here from out of state and it really seems like this place is loved by the locals. 10/10 would recommend.

If you are looking for breakfast options in Gloucester, MA you gotta try Mom’s Kitchen! The crew there is amazing and kind! It’s a tiny place but they manage to accommodate quite a few guests and they’ll take your number and let you know when a table is ready for you. Super nice! The food is great, prepared with love. We tried the French toasts and they are delicious!

Mom’s Kitchen, Gloucester.
Small restaurant with limited seating. Makes up for that by offering big portions, and fresh traditional breakfast.
Definitely a locals place. Friendly service, everyone is open to chatting. Really does feel like your in moms kitchen. Nothing fancy here.
Had the egg sandwich on a croissant, egg cheese bacon on the and the coffee cake.
This hearty meal should hold you till dinner. Fresh fresh! Very reasonable prices.
Definitely worth a visit.

Very good address that I highly recommend! Very typical and pleasant for foreigners/tourists, very welcoming and friendly. The food is good, there is a lot of choice and the prices are very reasonable. I hope to be able to come back one day for breakfast again

I am not from the area, and eating here felt like getting a glimpse of what it’s like living in this area. It seemed everyone is a regular and knew each other, I really liked that! They were very welcoming and we enjoyed our time. The food was good, the cinnamon roll to me was a little too sweet but the dough was nice and soft.

Really love this family-owned diner. It’s not common in big cities anymore.
The food is as great as the diner food is supposed to be, fresh, yum, and comforting. The service is so friendly, warm and attentive.
A great experience and would come back again.

It’s a lovely place to hang out. Great service and super fun atmosphere. I got a breakfast burrito that was a little unconventional, but overall did the job. Mom’s has that down to earth New England feel and it was a great experience.

The best hollandaise sauce in the world! I am very picky about hollandaise sauce and asked for it on the side so I can try it before its smothered in my food. It was very good, hearty and a yummy tang at the end and best of all not sweet! I’ve had some that were not to my taste. The fish cake benedict was perfect, not too salty and the english muffin on the bottom wasn’t soggy or too toasty. The homefries were on another level, probably the best I’ve ever had. The boys loved their plates too, eggs benedict with corn beef hash.
Adding to it was endless hot coffee that tasted very good. I’m usually a light sugar and cream girl but this coffee flavor was perfect for me without anything in it. And And And, the famous big coffee cake? I don’t even like cinnamon rolls and I ate it. Definitely a shared item though it is parge! They make muffins too and it was good, cakey and moist! Very cute place and the staff, is on point and very kind, our waitress Amy was very pleasant and down to earth! Def try out this place!!!! Thank you Mom’s Kitchen!
