A mom and pop store that serves hand made dumplings with variety of fillings. We ordered the shrimp trio dumplings, triple delight pam-fried dumplings, and the spicy stirred potato shreds. You order through the QR code that’s on the table which was convenient. Everything came out nice and fresh. The servers were very nice served us quickly. Good for small parties but could possibly fit a larger party if there are available tables. Would come back here if I’m craving dumplings!

I ordered an order of triple delight pan fried (8pc) and beef shank (small takeout box). The dumpling ($12ish) taste better than the ones from Dumpling house cause the skin is a lot thinner and the pork, chive, and cabbage filling is seasoned well. The beef shank’s ($13ish) flavor is pretty good as well, classic chili and garlic parring, however, the pricing for it is a bit high for the portion size. Wait time took about 12 minutes, which I assume is from cooking and platting the dumpling. They provide utensil, napkins, soy sauce, and vinegar dumpling sauce. Location is pretty good because it’s right next to arboretum bike route. There’s also an open window counter showing the pop making dumplings, a mini version of Din Tai Fung.

I was skeptical at first because many of the dumpling fillings are uncommon – alongside the typical pork/cabbage, you have mackerel and cuttlefish (which I learned are actually traditional in northeastern China). But all the fillings are super tasty, and you’d be hard-pressed to find dumpling wrappers this good anywhere else.
So far, my favorites have been: cuttlefish dumplings and boiled chicken (with scallion oil; beware of bones).
Since their opening, they’ve also been rolling out more menu items like veggie dumplings, and the soup dumplings are coming soon. I will definitely be coming back often!

This place is awesome and must to try in Davis, the dumplings are all fresh made and you can even see it from the window. Also, they have the fish filling dumplings which is rare to find in America and you can imagine how excited was I when I found this dumplings at this place. My favorite is the duck!! So lit!!!! It’s spicy and tasty, it’s NOT the Cantonese style duck, but totally different style. It goes so good with alcohol, I had half there and immediately ordered another half for to go, and finished all of them by the night!
