I was craving for mutton Biriyani and found this place online with good reviews. We came here as a family and ordered mutton Biriyani, mutton curry and garlic naans. The food was delicious and the service was good. To top it off, we were offered complimentary chicken soups and a red grilled chicken.
We are coming back here for sure.

We didn’t expect this place will swoop us off our feet! Really good quality biryani, not at all overly oily or overly spicy like the every other biryani place in the Bay Area! Felt literally like mom’s food as the name suggests! Everybody in the Bay Area this is the place to eat your Biryani, an absolute must try if you want a break from the regular overly greasy not great tasting missing the spark boring not so great biryanis! The owner Raghu is a wonderful humble person whose only purpose is to be able to share his culture and good food without compromising on quality!

This is the BEST Indian food I’ve ever had in the USA! Super friendly staff and most authentic curries and biriyani! The owner even gave us free soup to start while we wait for the food.

Nice atmosphere. Biryani is good here but probably suited to more north style biriyani vibes where I personally prefer south indian flavor

We had an awesome dinner. The server lady was very kind and helpful in selecting the menu. She took extra care to get non-spicy items for few of us while spicy options for the rest of us. We ordered boneless chicken dum biryani, seekh kawab, tandoori chicken, mutton korma, garlic naan, chicken soup. Everything was yummy. Highly recommend their tandoori chicken

Came in on a whim. Was quite pleasantly surprised by the quality of the chicken biriyani I had. Lots of tender boneless chicken and aromatic flavors. I usually go for “spicy” level seasoning, opted to play it safe since I was new to this restaurant. The medium spice level was perfect. Will definitely be back to try other dishes of which there many. One unexpected pleasant surprise was the white linen tablecloths, and flowers on every table. Few restaurants take that kind of care these days, even a lot of the higher end ones. So, I would definitely recommend this restaurant in Sunnyvale for an unassuming, but very nice Indian cuisine. Only negative was sound volume of their overhead music was too loud for my taste. I didn’t ask to have it lowered, but I’m quite sure I would have been accommodated if I had.

Read the reviews and thought I’d try. So flavorful and big portions. Had boneless chicken biriyani and idils. Delicious with the sauces. Will definitely be back. Great friendly service

do not confuse it with the bistro. The restaurant kitchen closed at 3 so we got in there like 5 minutes before that. A great experience served with a beautiful smile. The plates were great but the most delicious thing was the complementary chicken soup they offer at the beginning.

Great eatery in the sunnyvale mountain view area. I visit this restaurant 3 or 4 times a week. Been Amazing. I love chicken gongura biryani here, chick has extreme soft texture, Quantity is a lot, 2 can easily share.
Dhavangere benne idly is out of this world!
