Delicious! The broth is flavorful & right on point! If you are not a big fan of salty ramen & this place is a perfect fit! Check them out!

Absolute hidden gem that we found while driving from the LA area to Monterey. Located in a marketplace (the Paso Market Walk, which appears to be dying), the restaurant itself is a small stall-style with seats around the front. We met the owner, who took our order, such a friendly and outgoing person! My daughter and I both got the shoyu ramen, me with the char siu and her with the spicy miso bomb, the food was absolutely fantastic! The noodles were perfectly cooked, the broth was so flavorful, and the char siu was tender with a bit of a char bite on the outside. We also shared an order of the karaage (Japanese fried chicken), and it was great as well. Can’t say enough about how great the food and service were!

The ramen was really exceptionally delicious in my opinion. It was definitely some of the best ramen I’ve ever had. I had the signature momotaro ramen, which was tonkotsu ramen with pork belly that was super tender and broth that was really rich and flavorful. I had low expectations considering that it is located in a food court in the very white and conservative town of Paso Robles. However, the food completely defied my expectations and was shockingly authentic. It was a nicely decorated place as well. The owners were also super nice and I enjoyed talking to them.

Love this place! Always greeted by a great staff, I order the same ramen every time and just different add ons hits every time. Used to wish they had more of a “restaurant style seating” but the bar has grown on me. I love how they give you a little presentation every time of the different sauce and spices. Best ramen in the 805! Must try.

Momotaro is excellent ramen. You absolutely have to add the marinated mushrooms (one of the best individual food items I’ve ever eaten) The owners are friendly and knowledgeable and the staff is very helpful and polite. A great experience!

This place is located inside a complex with multiple businesses. Street parking only. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Simple menu but has delicious choices. Love their spicy ramen.

Didn’t expect to find a decent ramen place at Paso but here it is! Momotaro ramen is really good; shio is a bit too light for me (but probably be perfect for someone who wants something not too strong) but the chicken karaage is really good! Overall we will come back again next time stop by Paso.

Food was amazing! We had dang near everything on the appetizer side, and the traditional Momotaro Ramen. Soooo good. The wife working in the front was welcoming and nice. Making sure we were doing good and if we needed anything, she was on it. The husband cooking in the back checked on us as we were eating and told us the back story. Overall a very good experience. I can’t wait to come back here again.

Quick Summary
Excellent food with a small countertop bar dining area. There are tables upstairs if you want to mix and match restaurants (they’re pretty stern about not allowing other foods there; and you would have to use a to-go bowl to use the different table areas). Service was a hit or miss though, but food was fantastic.

Food- 5 stars

Gyoza- I was pretty impressed with the gyoza. They added the crispy bottom that really added a nice crunch texture to the gyoza. Would recommend trying it

Momotaro ramen- the Tonkatsu broth was fantastic. The pork chashu was very good as well. The noodles did taste packaged and not house-made; it was good but not great. Overall, it was a splendid ramen bowl

Service- 3 stars
This was a hit or miss. The owner/manager was really helpful throughout. But some of the staff weren’t the best. There was an egg missing in 1 of our ramen orders, and one of our friends had their order completely messed up. It is relatively new, so giving them some benefit, but it was a bit of a mess at times

Bottom Line
Excellent ramen spot. Definitely try the gyoza!
