The hot oil fish carpaccio and spicy wontons are also exceptional—both dishes are incredibly flavorful and expertly prepared, with a depth of taste that truly stands out.
Their bar features an excellent selection of drinks, and the service is consistently friendly and attentive. Overall, this restaurant delivers an outstanding dining experience and is well worth visiting.
I just parked in the parking garage which is convenient.
We went on a Saturday evening and it wasnt busy, we were immediately seated.
Our surver was attentive and fast. We ordered 3 appetizers and 2 of them came after our while our final dish was served.
Not really a big deal but.
The Salmon rolls were great along with the Gyoksu Ramen Braised Beef. Everything tasted fantastic and I’m looking forward to visiting again.
The atmosphere was good and the location was clean.
It’s actually our puppy, Yogi’s favorite spot, he absolutely feels the love here (especially when there’s chicken soup and chicken sides involved!). The staff always go out of their way to make us feel at home, and that level of care is rare.
Beyond the hospitality, the food is excellent and consistently well prepared. But what truly sets this place apart is the people. Amazing staff, great energy, and an experience that keeps us coming back.
Gyukotsu ramen. This $30 bowl comes with beef rib, kale, seaweed and egg in a tonkotsu ramen beef. Honestly, this is the only ramen dish worthy of eating since it’s a unique signature bowl, and other ramen dishes aren’t that great compared to other restaurants. Keep in mind it’s limited quantity of maybe 30/bowls/day…? So get here early.
I also remembered loving the salmon carpaccio as it was very fresh and refreshing which is great for the hot days.
Next, I had the kakuni BAP and thought this was a fantastic bowl of rice, just a tad on the smaller size proportion wise.
Lastly, the duck tacos were fantastic and I recommend this appetizer!
I also recommend trying the chili oil here. It’s not spicy but it is packed with flavor and there is a sense of nostalgia which I highly adore!
Overall, it’s an expensive, neat place with better appetizers than mains.
The food overall was good, but the ramen was a bit of a letdown kinda dry and missing that broth we were craving. However we really liked Tofu Agedashi, spicy wonton, Pork Bao and karage.
The cocktails were amazing I really liked the Matcha espresso martini.
Food: I ordered the “Tokyo Chicken Ramen” and “Popcorn Shrimp”, and both had their highlights. The ramen came with a generous portion of chicken, though otherwise, it didn’t stand out too much. The “Popcorn Shrimp”, on the other hand, was a pleasant surprise. It came with a unique gochujang aioli, which added a hint of sweetness while keeping the shrimp crispy – something I don’t often see at other spots.
Service: The service was great. The waitstaff were attentive, regularly refilling our water and checking in halfway through the meal. No issues here.
Atmosphere: The restaurant has a warm, modern look with lots of wood tones – mostly brown, black, and white colors. It was clean and had a calm vibe, especially since it wasn’t too busy on a weekday night.
Overall, the quality here is nice, though I wouldn’t go out of my way to return. The “Popcorn Shrimp” was memorable, but the ramen was just okay for the price. It’s a solid choice if you’re nearby, but it doesn’t necessarily stand out among other ramen spots I visited.
However, I would not return for the food. We ordered the Carpaccio, Chicken Karaage, Duck Tacos, All Star Ramen, and Edamame.
Carpaccio and Ramen: Both were unnecessarily oily, which unfortunately overpowered the flavor and ruined my taste.
Chicken Karaage: This was just okay. While crunchy, the exterior was a bit too hard. The flavor was good, but honestly, I’ve had better juicy popcorn chicken at local milk tea shops.
Duck Tacos: 5/5. I highly recommend these! I loved the harmony of flavor and texture.
Edamame: Too salty and unremarkable. We only ordered it because we were craving a vegetable dish.
