The jellyfish salad was nee to me and awesome. I thought it was made from noodles, but the waitress said it was real jellyfish.
The seaweed salad was very good.
The tuna and unagi will definitely be had again on a return visit.
Had a return visit. Food and server are very good. Keep up the great work.
It is a cozy restaurant so plan ahead if you’re brining a large party of people.
The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. They are busy, so they can’t always answer the phone during busy hours.
Chef Alvin and his entire staff were friendly and attentive, and virtually all of the other patrons were “regulars” that clearly love the place!
It was easy to understand why there were no empty seats when I left.
The prices are more than the other two main sushi places in PTC – but the quality of the fish and rice is second to none. It’s really small things like the rice bing actual sushi rice and served warm with rice vinegar or even the use of other fish and vegetables you don’t normally have (like daikon).
The quality of the food is something that needs to be celebrated. Get the scallops. I know it’s raw and it sounds weird but they are life changing. Get the scallops.
The saki menu is moderate in size and expensive but again, you come here for A++ quality not a cheap out with the Mrs.
We spent $100 for 2 of us and got one house Saki and 3 rolls and one sashimi dish. Parking is a little bit of a pain (just has a small lot) and the service is very nice when we could get it. We know they were all working quickly and the place was bumping busy for a Tuesday but service was slow. Slow to get service and slow to get the check. But the girls were very polite and friendly. But the kitchen was working super fast. Props to everyone there either way it did not take away from our experience since the food itself was the star.
Ambiance and vibe cool and low key, apps came out fast…some were good, some were meh, some were not.
Sushi was reallllyyyy slow to come out. Quality and taste of the rolls were average/average plus- the traditional spicy tuna though was weird. And some of the speciality rolls were solid, but nothing to write home about overall.
Alot of ppl rave about the place so checked it out- by no means bad, but just super average for the hype.
