This place is so freaking cool in Queen Village. Service is great and fast. Inside, the atmosphere feels like you’re in Tokyo such cute decorations. The ramen was pretty good, but we agreed the skewers were out of this world. The buns were okay – we wish the pork was shredded and we didn’t love that there was lettuce and tomato on them. Maybe we just weren’t used to it based on our usual bao experience, but still, the food is very good and we would definitely come back!

Excellent Ramen! The pork and chicken broth-base noodle dishes are addicting. They give you choice of saltiness so you can tweak between less, normal and extra based on your taste. The seasoned boiled eggs are very good and I like that you can add extra as you wish. The scallion pancakes and bao buns are starts we love and the Black Garlic Ramen is my favorite, so far. We have only done take-out (three time, now) the in store seating is pretty basic and all that plentiful. But the staff are friendly and cheerful when you enter. What delightful alternative to pizza and Chinese food for delivery/take-out.

Cute atmosphere, great service, and most importantly – delicious ramen!!! I also appreciated there being other items on the menu that appealed to the whole family given my younger kids are not that into soups. We’ll definitely be back!

It’s a very cute and cosy place. It’s pretty small, but that’s what makes it even better — it feels like home. The ramen was super delicious and the service was great!
Fans of Japanese anime culture will definitely appreciate this place.

Delicious food and very affordable! It’s was under $20 per person for our main courses. You have got to come here for lunch, a date night, or dinner!

The staff very very kind and quick to seat us. We got the steamed buns (good size and delicious), ramen, and chicken curry. The good tasted amazing! Our waiter was very polite and quick to assist us. The anime wall art and hand crafted pieces by the chef were artistic masterpieces! The resturant was also very clean. We’ll be back!!

Whoa! I had the teriyaki rice platter this time and it was amazing! Started with a good size salad with ginger dressing, it was crisp and delicious.
Then there was a large plate of sliced chicken breast with delicious teriyaki sauce, grilled onions and broccoli and a huge mound of rice.
Really, really good!
Service very friendly

A coworker who is very into restaurants recommended this place and I’m glad I listened. I ordered the Chicken Shoyu Ramen, the scallion pancakes, and hot green tea. I appreciated the ability to customize the sodium level in the ramen and the spice level of the broth. The scallion pancakes were divine – flaky, crispy on the outside, melt in your mouth. The hot green tea, which I think was matcha, was warming and energizing. Service was efficient, and our server was exceptionally kind and had a great sense of humor. And the ambience was great! Highly recommend turning off the lights when you use the bathroom lol

This is one of those “should I let the secret out” type reviews. Lucky for you, I’m going to spill the secret…but don’t take my seat.

Momoka is a relatively new spot in Queen Village. They’ve got Ramen, Curry, Bao, a small assortment of skewers, and a variety of different appetizers. I’ve now been twice, and this is easily a contender for best ramen in Philly. But everything is actually great here.

The curry is great, the skewers are great, and even the scallion pancakes are great. I know what you’re thinking: “scallion pancakes? You can get them anywhere.” What if I told you these were somehow better than any of the ones you’ve had. Crispy and flaky, almost croissant-like.

I’ve had the spicy miso ramen and the black garlic ramen. I also tried my wife’s spicy tonkatsu. All were 10/10, no notes.

All in all, this place made it onto my favorite spots really quickly. Everything is great.

I’m trusting you with this info, don’t let the secret out too much. I need this ramen, and I hate lines.

I started coming here like the week after they opened and I bring everyone now. My favorite ramen in the neighborhood, and the people who own it are so sweet with an impressive anime memorabilia collection they decorated the place with. Small, cozy, warm place with rich, flavorful broth and well cooked food. Love that you can customize your bowl how you like it. I think its so well priced for the level of quality.

I saw some people complained about the service– it’s quite literally two passionate people running the entire operation. Sometimes they get backed up, and the food takes a little while. Y’all need to remember you are buying food from other humans and not robots designed to satisfy your every whim. That’s the best part. Chill!

Cute spot, good food. I really liked that you can choose the salt level. They have lots of things to choose from. I had the angus steak ramen, i thought that the meat had nice marbling, but a little overcooked for me personally.

The gyozas were fine. A tad salty, definitely would not dip in soy.

The kaarage deep fried squid legs were very good.
