All I came for was udon but honestly this was some of the best service I’ve had in a long time from anywhere. The food came out hot and delicious, the drinks (a hot green tea with honey and a strawberry cheesecake boba) were also lovely. And the price for everything was decent, 2 soups, 2 appetizers, and 2 drinks was a little over $60
RESPONSE TO OWNER: i do not want your money. this is a reoccurring issue with your staff and you need to make sure they treat customers better instead of always offering money. being understaffed is not an excuse to treat anyone like theyre bothersome nor is training. have your staff been training for 8+ months? my previous workplace only had 2 servers including me but we powered through with great attitude. my point is to get better staff. until then, this location is just disappointing.
RESPONSE TO MEZYENA: if you can read and comprehend, you can see that many reviews that have brought up the same issue spans from years and months ago. the day my family and i went, the restaurant was half empty and staff were just standing around as all customers were already eating and we were STILL treated as such. pat yourself on your back if you were treated well—not everyone gets the same treatment. since you want to assume things about me and others, im going to assume you either work at this location or know people who work there personally, thus, making you defend and enable their continuous unprofessionalism. no one is trying to tear down a small business, but if i went through the same experience someone else went through, im going to talk about it, big or small business (and momohana has two chains, mind you). editing my response to the owner’s apology is not wrong for me to do especially when all i want is for future customers to not be treated so. you cant BUY your way through me, but i guess poor service is okay as long as it doesnt happen to you :)) if there were only a couple reviews about the service, sure, i would understand, but several reviews have brought up the behaviour of the staff. dont sit there and tell me and others that we’re wrong just because YOU got treated better. next time, just stay curious if you dont understand the concept of reviews and actual criticism.
It is pretty pricey but honestly it’s worth it highly recommend to try!!
