I stopped by Momma T‘s restaurant in Boonville, NC for a late lunch. My order was two BLTs and a sweet tea. Food was tasty. Service was great. Only complaint was there weren’t any paper towels in the bathroom..

Me and the husband were very excited to try the breakfast buffet…only to be disappointed. The waitress took our drink order and told us nothing regarding buffet and there were no signs regarding service about buffet. We start to fill up our PAPER plates only for who I assume was the owner to rush out and tell us it was not self service that we needed to sit down and tell the waitress what we wanted from the buffet…The bacon was burnt, biscuits were dry, grits and gravy were ok. Coffee was undrinkable. It tasted old burnt and water down. Her waitress tell another guest the coffee machine was not working properly so who knows what it was I was actually served.

Honestly, skip it. Every single table was dirty and hadn’t been wiped down. The guy could see we were trying to determine which table was the cleanest to sit at and didn’t offer to wipe any down. We both got different burgers and they were fine, nice and hand pattied… fries were completely unseasoned, honestly just some AP seasoning when coming out of the fryer would have made them way better. We both got water to drink and it was $25 for two burgers and two fries. In todays economy, I would rather spend my money elsewhere.

The all you can eat breakfast was disappointing. A hot table in the corner, right by the bathrooms. There was few other customers that was very loud. Small setup for seating. Overall was not worth the money….
