You can see commercials for this place. But until you try it, you won’t know. Let me tell you the food lived up to the hype. The Italian was packed, filled with delicious meat and peppers. So much you couldn’t even squeeze the sides together. The cheesesteak, was filled and the meat was cooked where it was soft and juicy. The maple syrup waffle fries were OK. But these subs and sandwiches are on another level!

Ordered out. I tried the Spicy Italian, wife the Beef Brisket and son the Reuben. All were amazing. The Italian ranks up there with my all time favorite.
Update Sept 4, 2025. In honor of the Eagles opening game, we went for the Philly Cheese steaks. Outstanding! They really load these up with meat.

We had been looking forward to trying this place for weeks, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We walked in with my 6-year-old and Home Alone was playing on the TV, instantly creating a warm, holiday atmosphere.
The food took a little bit of time, but you can clearly see everything being freshly prepared and sliced in the back, which made the wait more than worth it. The food itself was genuinely excellent — fresh, well-portioned, and thoughtfully made. I loved that they offer Cooper cheese as an option. My boyfriend appreciated the thin-sliced meat, and my extremely picky child cleaned his plate, which says everything.
What truly stood out was the service. A very kind gentleman came out personally to ask if I really wanted my burger with only cheese — a simple request that so many places just cannot seem to get right. That level of care and attention is rare and deeply appreciated. We will absolutely be returning.

Best club sandwich! Perfect, down to the presentation which was in a nifty box packed nicely inside next to the chips and pickle.
Also got a buffalo chicken hoagie and I basically inhaled it, it was delicious!
Great food, great service, great prices. Nice little hidden gem. Don’t sleep on this place.

I’ve been here a couple times on my work routes when I’m in the area. I will go out of my way to stop here. My favorite is the reuben. For $10 they slap the meat on it like they don’t even care if they run out. Delicious kraut and the sauce makes the whole thing pop. I have also gotten a cheesesteak to take back for a friend and they loved it. They are definitely not scared to protein pack your sandwich here! 10/10 no question.

Moma Pat’s was absolutely slammed when we got there — about a 50-minute wait — but *totally* worth it. The place was buzzing, the staff was hustling, and the food lived up to the hype. The cheesesteak was outstanding, easily one of the best I’ve had. If you’re anywhere near Duncannon, make the stop. You won’t be disappointed!

Best cheesesteaks around! Soooooo good! Friday nights they get busy and it’s usually an hour wait for your food so keep that in mind when calling in to order! But definitely worth it ! And the cheesesteaks and subs are HUGE! My husband and I can share one!

Overall great experience. Was able to order shortly after I walked in and the wait was a little longer than I expected but definitely worth it for a very fresh tasting. 6-in Italian sub. Would definitely return if I’m in the area again.

Really good hole in the wall. Just FYI the entrance is on the side of the beer store.
The menu is small and appropriate (large menus irritate me)
I got the philly cheesesteak with cheese whiz on it only. The taste was good, the only thing it needed was some seasoning. I got the 12 inch, so I brought the other half home and added some garlic powder to it and it was great.
The service alone was outstanding, very nice people and personable. There’s not too much of that around this way especially if you have melonin in your skin, but these people were very friendly. I enjoyed the food and I will be back to try the burger for sure.
There is no fountain soda, only cans so just be mindful if dining in.
Credit cards are accepted but they do add 3% due to fee’s I’m guessing.
Great spot!
