Great spot, right outside of jamestown marina links to the Cumberland tap. They also have a store. That’s right beside this little barbecue restaurant. Very nice people and accommodating. The views are very great and their barbecue is very delicious. We like to get the brisket here and the ribs. You can feed the ducks and the turtles nearby. Great part of lake cumberland to park your boat and have a great barbecue. Lots of parking. You just have to walk down the steps to get to the restaurant.

We docked out boat yesterday with some friends. This was the second time we’ve ate there and it will be the LAST. We ordered the chicken tenders, they were out of them. My don ordered a sweet tea that came out unsweet. When we aske the derver to fix it she poured sugar in it and brought it right back to the table (straw and all). Our friends wanted the brisket, they were also out. Out of Dr. Pepper… Out of mac and cheese…. so we decided to try the wings. They came buffalo or BBQ. We opted for BBQ. We assumed the wings would be tossed in BBQ. They were dry with a 2oz cup of BBQ sauce and the the most watery ranch I’ve ever seen. The ranch was pitiful looking and tasted like warm milk. Along with our wings we ordered a basket of fries that arrived to the table 10 minutes after our wings. My friend ordered pulled pork nachos and by the time they arrived to the table they were already a pile of inedible mush. None of the food arrived at the same time. We ordered the kids a cheese pizza and they had it finished before anything else even hit the table. When we asked for forks they were NOT SUPRISINGLY out of forks so we had to eat with plastic spoons. A BBQ pork platter was served to the table without a drop of BBQ sauce so we shared the small cup that came with the wings with him so he could choke down his dry sandwich.
My husband made the remark “This would be a good place for a restaurant.” Normally I would have died of embarassment but I couldn’t even disagree or justify correcting him. How can a restaurant during peak season on the lake be out of so many things? When we arrived the outside deck was empty besides one table finishing up and it doesn’t shock me. This place should be booming during this time of year. In my honest opinion this place is a quickly sinking joke. We were told by out server that we had to wait on our food because the restaurant had gotten so busy. There were some tables that came in after us and after we had ordered but they were done eating and paying as our food was arriving.
Also, after we had been seated and our order taken someone stuck a large bluetooth speaker out one of the doors to the bar area that was blaring so loudly we couldn’t have conversations to the people we were sitting right next to.

We were sitting in the outside area at taps-which had great beer but you had to order food from Momma’s we didn’t want much so ordered the nachos pulled pork.. it was cold, the nachos were plain, had cold cheese and cold pork with a itty bitty amount of bbq sauce on them.. very disappointing. Could be a great place but need to step it up.

Sat and waited to be served. 20 minutes later, we were never served. Everyone after was served.
Note- when you come, you seat yourself. They cannot keep up with who comes in when. So, people after you will be served before you.
