Definitely a college mainstay at Auburn for a reason. A business doesn’t get to stay in one location for this long because they have bad food. My Reuben was outstanding, with ultra fresh bread, and the order taker even asked me if I would rather have it with spicy mustard instead of the Thousand Island dressing. Lots of good things to try here, and you won’t get a bad meal. The food here is not fancy, but affordable and very good. Fast food speed, and sit down restaurant quality without the boring attitude of a fast food chain. Typical vibrant college energy, and the place is as clean as it needs to be, cluttered, and heavily trafficked. Skip Subway and try this place instead!

Will not be coming here again. My order was dine in. I stood at the counter while people who came in after me names were called yet no one inquired about my order. I finally had to ask where my order was only to see they never looked at the dine in area. The sandwiches, which were Reuben’s, had so little meat that the two pieces of bread didn’t separate and there was almost no mustard or 1000 islander See photos. Cost too high for the portion. I would have been better off going to Publix. Next time I will. Don’t waste your hard earned cash!!

We split the mama love, which was enough for two people, but adding two drinks and chips. It was seven bucks

and the most surprising thing was we decided to get the potato salad and there were four bites and it was $3!!

It was my first time trying this and I’m not a fan of the steam sandwiches because I don’t really like warm lunch meat, but the concept is really fun and I’m sure other people would like this sandwich. I just didn’t really enjoy it that much.

Love their sandwiches, but may love their BREAKFAST even more!! We always grab some Mama G’s when in town for swim meets, and this morning we discovered they now serve breakfast at our favorite location! The sausage egg and cheese biscuit was delish, and my husband enjoyed a country ham biscuit and tater tots. The coffee was good and hot, employees were super friendly.

I got a custom sandwich which was grilled chicken, sesame ginger, sesame bun, mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion and jalapeño, and needless to say; I think they should add it to the menu. The sandwich was great and I’d love to come back for more. The salad was decent but could use some work on the freshness, the vinaigrette sauce was also pretty good. Only reason I’m not giving 5/5 is cause of the salad, everything else was good and I would recommend trying the entire menu, I see a lot of complaints about the staff, but the days I go, everyone is friendly and attentive.

A great place for a good meal on game days, Momma Goldbergs Deli provides friendly service and serves up savory sandwiches! You must give it a try when in town. Expect a line during peak hours!

Order a pitcher of cheap beer with a couple of friends on a weekday afternoon (2pm?) and grab a table discreetly inside or (who cares) enjoy the patio. THAT is the vibe of this corner on the edge of the Auburn University Campus with Jordan Hare Stadium towering a couple of blocks down the street. Grab another pitcher or two and text a few more friends and let them know that you’re kicking back for the afternoon at Momma G’s and you’re buying the (cheap) beer so come hang. While the world around you is charging through their weekday you and those lucky enough to join you are CHILLING. This is the place for just this kind of afternoon. Now I usually get a Momma’s Love or Turkey and Swiss and nachos (which I find to be kind of a joke but maybe that is the point) and enjoy the uniqueness. Hot from the steamer comfort, ice cold beer and good friends. YOU are gaming the system and it is glorious! It doesn’t matter if you’re with your family on Gameday, grabbing a quick lunch during work, getting sandwiches for a picnic or wedding party or graduation celebration, the vibe you’ll cherish is of a chill afternoon with friends and no cares whatsoever. That feeling will now overcome you every time you visit and order a Momma’s love, nachos and a Coke so enjoy my memories or make your own but enjoy!

Fun little sandwhich shop with cold beer. Right on the campus of Auburn, this is a great spot for a quick but delicious bite. We came when classes were out, but I can see this being a great place for good food and fun times.

SPENT OVER $50 FOR 4 SANDWICHES and we didnt like any of it. Chicken salad was so bland. Tiny container of Potato salad tasted like pure mayonnaise. Way overpriced! Won’t be back.
