Momiji’s was recommended by a friend, so when work had me in Lebanon, I figured I’d stop in and give it a try.
Getting there was easy. Google Maps had no issues at all. When I arrived, I didn’t immediately see a big sign, but it was clear I was in the right place.
I was greeted right away with a smile, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Even for a Wednesday lunch, the place was busy. Lillian got me seated quickly, brought water, and walked me through a few menu options without making me feel rushed.
I ordered miso soup and a spider roll. The chef was right in front of me, making everything by hand from scratch, which is always a good sign. While I waited, Disney’s Mulan was playing on the TV. Not a bad way to pass the time.
My food came out shortly after. The miso soup was hot, flavorful, and perfect for a cold day. The spider roll was excellent. The crab was crispy, the cucumber fresh, the rice had the right bite, and the sauce tied it all together without overpowering anything.
This will be a regular stop for me anytime I’m in town. The food was great, but what really stood out was the staff. Everyone was genuinely friendly and made me feel welcome.
Highly recommend stopping by if you’re anywhere near Lebanon.

From start to finish this Momiji location delivered one of the best sushi experiences I’ve had in Albany/Leb area. The moment you walk in, the friendly and attentive staff make you feel welcome — like dining with great friends. The atmosphere is relaxed yet vibrant, perfect for a casual lunch, date night, or group dinner.

The kids lived their Sushi. Big portion of teriyaki chicken. The mustard sauce was my favorite addition. Very fast and friendly. We will make it a regular dining experience.

We normally like to write positive comments on google but the sushi here is a hit or miss. We’ve been customers for a while and the staff is always nice and friendly. We ordered sushi recently and wasn’t happy with the quality for the price we paid. Our rolls were not tightly made so they fell apart right when you picked them up. Also on our take out order, there was no ginger or wasabi on the side. Our 3 rolls were crammed in a to go container so I guess there was no room. One of our speciality rolls was suppose to have tempura salmon inside but instead they put a few pieces of raw salmon on top where the baked unagi goes, the roll was missing so many things that were in the description.

We’ve had great experiences at the Salem location so I was pretty disappointed by our experience here.
-After being seated, they took more than 30 minutes to bring the menu.
-they basically ignored us and served all the other tables (our waters were never refilled).
There was hair in one of our sushi rolls.
They advertise the AYCE special to bring in customers, then when you order it, they don’t want to serve you.

My group comes annually for an event in lebanon and this is third year coming and we had a great time!
I believe 3/4 staff memebers called out this particular day but our server was hard working and made sure our group was well served! i forgot her name but she’s been our waitress every year! She was even in the back helping make rolls!
The store owner came and apologized for the longer wait times, but we were gladly satisfied and appreciated the staff’s hard work.

This was a disappointment. Service was slow and inattentive. Place was kind of dumpy. There was a spicy mango roll that was bad! The rainbow was solid. Spring rolls had a weird texture. Spinal tap roll was good

I feel bad writing this review because the staff here is awesome. We’ve only ever had great service and pleasant interactions with any staff member we talked to. The issue is the quality of the sushi.
We’ve been to this location probably about 5 times and have noticed the quality gradually declining up until the last time we were there, maybe 2 months ago as of the date of this review. We ordered 2-3 rolls (not sure which ones) and they came rolled in what appeared to be leftover rice from the day before. It’s also possible that the rice was just not cooked properly, but the flavor and texture suggested to us that it was leftover. The rice was hard and pretty dry. The fish was also dry.
It’s unfortunate because we really liked coming here. Hopefully no one else experienced what we did.

They exceeded all of my expectations! Went in to have a cute little sushi date with my S/O and the service was friendly and fast. The food was fresh and phenomenal!
