Just flew back to the States from Bali and continued our new tradition — a family girls’ night out — and Moma’s did not disappoint! The food was incredible, the service top-notch, and the personal touch of the owner and chef serving us, offering recommendations, and treating us to his signature dessert on the house made it unforgettable. A solid 5/5 — highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

We went to Moma for the first time recently and had a wonderful experience. It’s a small, lovely and intimate space. As far as the food goes – everything was great! The kind of great that makes you smile when you eat it. I’m so happy to have an upscale place like this so close to home. BYO restaurants are my favorite, so I love that aspect as well.

They just opened within the last couple of weeks (end of April/beginning of May 2024). Six of us went for dinner. Absolutely DELICIOUS!! We all loved our appetizers and meals. They accommodated a special request meal and also alterations to a dish without hesitation. Specials were reasonably priced and amazing. Pictures are the meals hubby and I had, which were the specials and paella for two that our friends shared (they only have it for two or four). Service was excellent. It’s a byob. Didn’t have dessert (went across the street for ice cream, which was also excellent btw). Highly recommend!! We can’t wait to go back. If I had any criticism, it’s that it’s very small downstairs and tables are cramped together. There’s an upstairs but I didn’t go up to see the layout. They have 2 other restaurants: Mt Airy (Italian that I hear is excellent) and Bryn Mawr.

We were a party of 10 celebrating a birthday with no reservation but were accommodated immediately. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The chef (owner) greeted our party, provided a brief description of the menu and his concept, and gave us his recommendations. The melintzana, the mediterranean duo, and the meatbolls were great to share. I shared the Paella for two which tasted fresh and authentic. The chef’s touch on traditional mediterranean dishes kept true to their origin and added a welcomed personalized flare. We are looking forward to dine there again.

Absolutely excellent addition to Glenside. Food is excellent. Great service. The menu is a little small but great specials for dinner. We had the tuna special and short ribs. Both were melt in your mouth good. My only complaint was how cramped and brightly lit the downstairs dining room was. We’ll be back for many more dinners.

We discovered this neighborhood gem after hearing about its opening several months ago. Having been to the owner’s other restaurant in Mt. Airy a few years ago and loving it, we couldn’t wait to try it, and can’t wait to go back. From the moment we walked into the lovely and intimate space, we received impeccable service, warmth and friendliness, and the best meal we have had outside of the city in years. Everything was cooked and presented to perfection. I had the tuna special with a pistachio crust, and it was amazing. We were so happy to see the dining room full of happy diners on a summer Saturday night and highly recommend you try this culinary gem in Glenside!

The food was delicious. Everything else not so much. There servers had trouble understanding us as English did not seem to be their first language. One entree came out 20min before the next two and then another 5min before the last one. The servers didn’t write down our order and the messed up dessert. They also didn’t understand what cream was for the coffee until we said milk. Unfortunate because the food was really good. Won’t be going back.

A real gem in Glenside! Just finished my 2nd dinner at Moma, and it continues to impress. Had the turkey meatballs for an appetizer and the seared tuna for the main course- outstanding. The venue is beautiful and the service is friendly and warm. An excellent place for a date or a casual dinner with friends. Looking forward to my next visit very soon!
