Very cute, clean, and welcoming shop. The ham and cheese breakfast sandwich was very good and larger than expected. And the bacon cream cheese crescent was delicious. The carmel coffee absolutely hit to spot! Great place for first dates or just a good breakfast. Will be going back!

I felt like the jungle was right outside, the food was so perfect. Absolutely delicious and they do a great job of giving that authentic Puerto Rican Vibe. Had the ham and cheese, Sorullito, and the oatmeal. The oatmeal was perfect, the sandwich was HUGE, and the Sorullito was something new for me, so perfect the Guava pineapple juice was perfect, and JC who helped us out was a great guy, super sweet and helpful, explained everything to us. We will absolutely come back here, new mini Puerto Rican vacation spot!

We visited for the first time today and glad we did. I’ve been craving a quesito. I ordered the plain and guava – absolutely delicious, they warmed them up for us. They were fresh and flavorful. Staff were friendly and attentive. Looking forward to visiting again.

After seeing an online post, I had to stop in and try this place out for myself. Everything was so tasty and delicious. The owner was very welcoming and informative. I really loved the meat empanada and green salsa. I had to dip the empanada in before each bite. It was so good. The Oatmeal was warm, sweet and creamy. I couldn’t have asked for it to be any better. They offer a wide variety of options in foods and treats. The dessert display makes you want to have one of everything. Everything I tried was very flavorful. I absolutely loved my guava drink, so much so, that I wished I had bought a second cup of after I had left. I definitely recommend stopping in. You won’t be disappointed

I had a wonderful experience at this bakery . The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, making it a great place for both families and casual outings.

However, I did notice that there was no baby changing station available in the restrooms. As a parent, this is an important amenity that would greatly improve the convenience for families with young children. I hope this is something the management considers adding in the future.

You won’t want to miss out on this San Antonio gem. We loved everything! The pastries were very well done (we especially recommend anything with guava there)! The sandwiches were amazing and very reasonably priced for what you pay. The service is top notch. We loved that it is family owned and run. We will definitely be back soon!

Mom & Son Puerto Rican Bakery is freaking amazing! The pastries are fresh, full of flavor, and taste just like homemade, especially the guava, quesitos, and flan. The coffee is delicious, and the friendly staff make you feel like family. I highly recommend this spot for authentic Puerto Rican food and delicious sweets, it definitely feels like I’m back on the island when I come here.

Pictures are usually worth 1k words, but you have to taste the food to believe it. So fresh and delicious. Try the sandwiches and the bread pudding, wow!! Best bread pudding around, we will definitely come back to try all the other baked goods.

The guava and cream cheese pastry was my favorite, big enough for two if you want to share (hint, hint).
