I dined in on a Saturday evening, no wait (we definitely beat the rush)! Waiter sat us down and we enjoyed a refreshing iced tea (so tasty)! I wanted to try EVERYTHING but decided on ordering the tastiest pork rice, delicious noodles, and a most flavorful dumpling soup (8 dumplings). They’re packed w flavor and that broth was absolutely exceptional and fresh! I also ordered the Xiao Long Bao and it was steamy deliciousness without the 2-3 hour wait hype. All tables were occupied and they became extremely busy but my drink remained full and our waiter was attentive and polite answering all of my menu questions. I appreciate cleanliness and great food! This place has both! This is definitely my new fave spot! ❤️

Our first time here!!! WOW!!! First of all the quality and deliciousness of the food are only eclipsed by the service. Our server was Li Mei and she was just wonderful, professional and knowledgeable!!!
This is a hidden little gem, if you like Cantonese food, excellent service and a true cafe atmosphere, come here to Mom Cafe and truly enjoy yourself!!!

My family went to this cozy place a lot, they serve really good food, especially the chicken , tender and tasty. My second favorite dish is fry rice noodles with shrimp, it’s absolutely delicious. The young waiter constantly provides warm , outstanding service and makes every visit even better.

I came on Friday night at 7pm, put my name on the waitlist that had 3 parties ahead and it took 35-40mins to get seated which is fine. There’s boba shop next door while waiting.
I ordered the crispy roasted duck but after waiting 20 mins, the server came to tell me they’re out no more duck and asked to wait so that she need to check with the kitchen what they have before reorder anything else. She never came back or brought menu to order something else! Wasted 1 hour!
The Hainanese rice chicken combo: the chicken and rice are so oily, LOTS OF OIL. It tasted bland no flavor at all, a ginger garlic sauce is also not anything special, the red sauce is sriracha. 1/10
Mom kitchen egg fried rice is decent, still oily. I like they have seaweed mix with it. The texture is good but the seasoning is bland. 5/10
Garlic water spinach is fresh and crunch, the garlic is mild. 7/10
The service is terrible, no customer service at all.
The price is high in my opinion for the quality and service.
Will I come back? Probably not during dinner time because it’s not worth the wait for just basic food. I might come back during off peak hour to try the roasted duck and sausage.

Service is real bad! I guess on this point this is an authentic Hongkong eatery.
The waiter took our plates while we were still working on the food just because they were about to close around 2:30pm. But it was not even 2:30pm. Respect your customers please!

The service was terrible, and they even forced us to give a very high tip. One of the waitresses completely ignored us when we tried to get her attention to ask for more water. Overall, the food was mediocre, and it took a long time for the dishes to arrive. The service was truly awful. If you’re really considering eating here, please think twice! My advice is to reconsider because the service is truly terrible, practically non-existent, and yet they still demand a tip. We ended up giving an 18% tip. It was absolutely not worth it.

This is our first time going to Mom Kitchen. We had the crispy roast duck, Hainanese chicken, beef chow fun, and sticky rice with sausage. All the dishes were tasty. However, the crispy roast duck was not as crispy as advertised—the skins were soft. The service was excellent, and our food came out promptly. At this restaurant, one can order food using the QR code on the table without waiting for the server to take the order.

The seating was nice but nothing else. Paying 20 dollars for a Hainan chicken set. Just because I didn’t notice the chicken hair at first and ate it doesn’t mean I actually enjoyed the food. The young lady right away asked me if I speak Chinese. I said I don’t. Then I heard her saying that she offered me 3 pieces of chicken because I FOUND it? She asked me where do I find it first to validate first if I was lying. I didn’t say I picked the chicken hair out from the other pieces. Most of the restaurant would apologize right away and ask to replace. No she didn’t, she made sure I wasn’t lying and didn’t apologize. She went “it happens”. Imao. What kind of service is that?? And said she doesn’t want to talk to me to her manager/owner. Just because I said I don’t speak Chinese doesn’t mean I don’t understand. lol Worst customer experience ever. Don’t talk shit about your customer in a different language in front them. Extremely disrespectful. It’s discrimination. And yeah, check out the picture. I actually counted it mini 10+ hair to start with + not sure how much I ate in without paying attention. You don’t want to come here.

We came during the weekend and it was busy. We ordered the mix roast platter (with honey glazed bbq and Hainanese chicken), malay water spinach and the beef chow fun. The food was amazing. We will definitely be coming back to try more. Highly recommended!

I’ve been to this restaurant twice now, and both times were fantastic! The food is super flavorful, and the staff is so friendly and welcoming—it really adds to the experience.
The stir-fried noodles are one of my favorites, packed with flavor and topped with fresh veggies and sesame seeds. The beef dish is also a must-try—the meat is tender, and the mix of peppers and onions gives it the perfect balance.
The sides are great too! The chilled cucumbers are light and refreshing, the curry fish balls are full of flavor, and the sautéed greens are cooked just right. And don’t miss the pineapple bun with butter—it’s crispy, sweet, and so satisfying.
They also have an amazing iced milk tea that goes perfectly with the food.
The place has a cozy vibe, and the staff are always so attentive and friendly. It’s quickly becoming one of my go-to spots. Definitely worth checking out!
