At the end of my long day I was treated with kindness & courtesy & had a delightful meal. The special of the day was Chicken Florentine & it’s all home-made & delicious-o! I topped off everything with an Italian Cream Cake that would make Italians like Emarald Lagasse smile & ask for more! It was moist, creamy & had just enough pecans!
I thought the place looked familiar even though it was my 1st time there. 1 wall reminded me of something I’d seen on the TV show Restaurant Impossible… Well I was in the right place, just a few years later! Everything looks beautiful. The service is great & the food is fantastic. I’m going to be a loyal customer!

Decor was lovely, giving the restaurant a quaint, homey aesthetic. They were able to accommodate our party of 9 on a Saturday evening (definitely call ahead, they don’t take reservations but they were able to get a table ready when we were on our way)!
The owner and waitress was wonderful and hospitable. We were celebrating an anniversary of a business and completion of our Scuba certification so they brought out a complimentary slice of their Italian Cream Cake, which was delicious!
The bread was warm and our basket was kept full (again waitress was great). My CHICKEN PICCATA was dry and the piccata sauce isn’t a type of sauce that can compensate. I tried someone’s CHICKEN PARMASEAN and while the chicken was still dry, the sauce added some moisture back. The LASAGNA was recommended to the table and that was much better, a bit salty for my taste but the cheese had good elasticity.
The portions were smaller than what I expected for the prices, but it was still affordable.
Overall if you’re looking for Italian food, good people, and a pleasant environment in the area I think you should give this restaurant a try. My review was largely influenced by my disappoinment with my food but other members of my party raved about their experience. I would try this restaurant again if I’m back in the area, this time asking for a recommendation.

The food here is unmatched- They have nightly specials and the desserts are amazing. The prime rib is the best i have ever eaten and we go every Thursday night for that! we cannot wait to try the crab cakes that are seasonal because they only use fresh crab meat. Pizza is thin crust and delicious and the cheeseburgers are the real deal! A must go! great hours too! The ladies that work in their, from up front to the wait staff are phenomenal and the customer service is top notch!

The good part is that the restaurant is one of the cleanest restaurants I have seen. Much care is taken to make everything look and feel well scrubbed and fresh. The staff is also as friendly as you could want. They are courteous, accommodating and helpful. The not so good is that we felt the food was average at best. The pasta sauce was not authentic, oils on the pasta dishes were vegetable and not olive and the salads were plain iceberg lettuce. The prices were fair but we would have gladly paid much more for a more delectable fare.

So the food is good I really love the lasagna and fried cheese. The fried mushrooms are pretty good too. The reason I gave three starts is because of they way they operate. It just doesn’t work at all. There is a person dedicated to handling the drinks rather than the waitress. Every time we have ate there the waitress shows up before the drink person does and they tell us the drink person will be around shortly. Often times the drink person doesn’t show up and the waitress ends up taking our drink order anyway. Then when you empty your glass and don’t get a refill you end up asking your waitress for a refill only to be told the drink person will be around shortly which is rarely the case. When the waitress brought warm bread out we asked for butter and they said “oh it comes out with the drinks.” That doesn’t make any sense and by the time the butter comes out the bread has cooled down. I worked in food service for about 15 years some of that time as a waiter so I have experience. The whole process just doesn’t work. As far as I’m concerned they have some of the best food in town but the way they do things drives me crazy.

My mother and I ate here Saturday afternoon right after opening. It was not crowded at all and everyone was appropriately spaced out.
The bread that is brought to the table was warm and decently good, however next time I’ll opt for the garlic or cheese bread. We both ordered salads and I tried the house dressing. The salad was watery and the dressing had an overly sweet taste to it. Eventually my palate got use to it but the watery lettuce turned me off enough not to finish it. My mother ordered hers with ranch and that dressing was better but again the salad itself was very watery.
When the entrees arrived I instantly knew why everyone talks about this place. My manicotti was delicious and the marinara sauce here is to die for!! I also tried the spaghetti with meatballs and the meatballs had a terrific taste but were a little tough/chewier than what I prefer. We will definitely be back if we are in the area to give it another go.

Mom & Dads is one of those restaurants that is hit and miss. I had chicken Parmesan and it was amazing! I’m sorry to say its not always good. The food is way over-priced and if your looking for a romantic setting this is not the place to go. It reminds me of a little corner café. The deserts are amazing. Pricey but delicious. I can say we’ve always had an amazing waitress. They always greet you with a smile and talk to you like they’ve known you they’re entire life! And that is huge this day and time.

The food was good and the prices were ok. The reason I’m giving them a 4 instead of a 5 is because we all had problems reading the menu. We had never been there before but we were in the area and had heard good things about this place from friends. The dining room needs more lighting. It was too dark for me and my parents to comfortably read the menus. I had to use the flashlight app on my phone to help my Mom & Dad (who are elderly). The server seen us struggling and didn’t offer any help or suggestions.

My wife, myself and our two little children went to this establishment, recently one evening for dinner. I got the eggplant parmesan which was surprisingly under-par it was basically mush under very hard crusted cheese. My son got the popcorn shrimp and he loved it. My wife got the chicken spaghetti and she liked it. The service was great and the atmosphere was very nice from the time we ordered to the time the food was delivered it was surprisingly fast. Once again the people were very very nice. We might be back, the eggplant could’ve justbbeen a mistake or a fluke.
