I loved my first visit to Moltobuono! – as recommended by a friend who knows a thing or two about pizza dough. Despite the restaurant being very busy (Saturday evening) the waiters scrambled to find us a table. Friendly service, with that special Italian touch. Attention paid to gluten-free dietary requirements. They make their own gluten-free pizza dough and honestly it was the best I’ve tried in a really long time.

We visited Moltobuono before a show tonight and absolutely loved it. The place felt cosy and welcoming and the staff really went out of their way to make us feel at home. This is a truly authentic Italian. The pasta was honestly some of the best we’ve ever had, the pizza freshly made and delicious too, but… the pistachio ice cream at the end was simply perfect.
We left talking about when we’ll next be back –

We had the mushroom pasta which was tasty but slightly on the pricey side in my opinion.
I would try the pizza the next time. It seemed it was a lot more ordered at this restaurant than the pasta.

Absolutely fantastic food with good portions, best pasta I’ve had ever. Staff were so lovely and friendly. Even though we arrived 10 minutes before their kitchen closed (please don’t do this), they still had us and gave wonderful service.
Definitely lives up to its name. If anyone asks for good restaurants in Bristol, this is the first place I’d say.

Genuine italian restaurant in central Bristol. We had focaccia as an entrance (there were several options), burro and salvia pasta, and porcini pasta. Both options of pasta were delicious, clearly fresh pasta, and complex flavors. The tiramisu was also great – they offer a “dessert of the day” and pizzas too which I’m keen to try next time!

If the food you ordered here happened to not be that good, the service and ambiance alone would make your evening here one to remember. However, having bad food here is not something to worry about at all because the food was absolutely fantastic. I haven’t had such authentic and delicious Italian food before and I’m already looking forward to going back. Thank you to the family of employees there for such a lovely evening!

What a fantastic, genuine Italian restaurant! Lovely people, amazing authentic food cooked freshly in front of us. We turned up on a Saturday night, they were fully booked but they managed to squeeze us in. They couldn’t have been nicer to us, we just had pizza but it was like being in Italy, a really lovely experience.

Our absolute favourite restaurant in Bristol that has been our go-to date night venue since the start of our relationship. The food is amazing, real authentic Italian cuisine with fantastic fresh and rich flavours. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and always remember us and always go out of their way to make our experience special. When we turned vegan about 18 months ago we were worried we wouldn’t be able to go there anymore as Italian restaurants aren’t always great for vegan options, but we needn’t have worried! They have an extensive vegan menu which is delicious! 10 out of 10 every time!

We are visiting from Canada and this was one of the best meals we’ve had on our trip so far. Had both pizzas and pasta and everything was fresh and delicious. With a dairy allergy, I really appreciated the dairy-free cheese option! Service was excellent too.
