Wish I had found it months ago. In Lakewood 18 months, didn’t know it existed. Someone mentioned it. Reservation suggested.
I was alone and had a fabulous time. Can’t wait to bring friends.
This was a first, the owners asked for a selfie with me.
Spread joy not hate.

After trick or treat, went with a close friend. They had a fillet and ravioli special. Although we were not asked how we wanted the steak, I will tell you it was a perfect medium. It’s rare (pun intended) that I can finish a steak, but the only things that came home were a couple of ravioli and a bread stick. The tiramisu, gelato and espresso were the perfect end.

Cozy like restaurant with very limited seating…. MAKE SURE TO RESERVE A TABLE or you’ll be turned away. Food was amazing but due to limited kitchen help it took a little bit longer but it was good because we good time to talk to each other.

First time customers and we loved it. This was the chefs special ravioli in a cacio de pepa sauce with a 7 oz filet on top. 10 out of 10. We will be back soon we promise

What a wonderful Italian restaurant in Lakewood. Passed by many times, and now I am upset I have not visited sooner. The food was amazing, the wine selection was top notch and the service was outstanding. The salads and appetizers were large, where none of us were able to finish our entrees. Great thing was the entrees were still absolutely amazing the next day for lunch. The pasta dishes were some of the best we have had in the area, and we finished with a great gelato dessert. All in all, a wonderful restaurant that you should try out when in the mood for a great Italian meal.

This was the first time my wife and I ate at Molto Bene and it won’t be our last. We met dear friends there for dinner and from the moment we walked in we both knew it was going to be a great evening. We were greeted by Carlo our server who welcomed us with a warm smile and a caring attitude. From the moment we sat down at our table Carlo focused on providing us with outstanding service and personal attention. He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and mad several great recommendations for dinner. The food was outstanding (as I am an Italian food junkie) and it was quite obvious that our dishes were freshly made with top shell ingredients. I can highly suggest that if you have never eaten at Molto Bene treat yourself to a wonderful dining experience and make a reservation (reservations absolutely necessary as the restaurant is small however charming inside.)
You will thank yourself after a great meal!

If you’re looking for delicious homemade pasta and excellent service, this is the spot. Sachetti pasta was absolutely amazing and the arancini balls were the perfect appetizer. Everything came out steaming out and fresh. Even the balsamic/oil dip with bread was top tier. Service was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, they really go above and beyond. The building is very small with limited seating so the food came out very quickly. we are already looking forward to our next visit 🙂

My husband and I along with our friends were very impressed by the food! Being Italian and owning an Italian food place myself- We were all very happy! Also I am gluten sensitive and was fully prepared for an upset stomach after, to no fault of thier own. I can tell the quality of the flour and products they use as I actually feel comfortably full but good! I’m blown away! Every dish we got was perfection and you can tell it was all hand made with love! Not a big drink menu but the drinks they had were spot on! We will definitely be back! Highly recommend! Service was spot on and it was the most quaint homey place to be in, like being home! And I don’t say this easily! Don’t walk, run!

Let me join the group of people who have driven by here countless times and FINALLY made a reservation and had a fabulously delicious and cozy experience! Carlo looked after us and we had superb attentive service as well! Kicking ourselves we never tried this sooner! Cozy interior and despite being a nearly full house, the sound level was fine! We were initially seated at the table that another review mentioned ( cold air vent underneath the table with a shield on it). When I mentioned to the hostess that it was too cold for me, she was very gracious and moved us to another table. Eventually a couple came in and sat at our original table, so maybe the cool air doesn’t bother some people. Back to the FOOD! It was so good, initially I thought I might take some of my dinner home for lunch the next day. Nope! Just couldn’t stop eating it! We did not save room for dessert on this trip but totally enjoyed our appetizers, drinks, bread and dinner! Cannot wait to come back! Parking lot is super small but all three of us arrived separately and were able to find street spots along Detroit Ave and the side street. Do not park in the spots designated for India Garden next door.

Overall it was good but nothing I’d run back here for. First off they don’t serve liquor on Sundays so that kinda threw us off bc we do like our cocktails and no bar seating. Decided to stay anyways and try it out. It’s very small so tables and chairs are very close together. Service was good and attentive. Food was overall good with a few exceptions. We ordered the apperitivo and eggplant parm appetizer special. Both were very good and flavorful. For dinner we tried 3 entrees. The chicken parmesan ( a little salty and not pounded thin like I would prefer) but overall had good flavor, saccetti entree was good but nothing special. The third entree was the best which was the tortelloni w/ mushrooms. The truffle cream sauce made the dish. Since they just got their power back they didn’t have any gelato so we opted for the tiramisu which was on the wetter side but too much cocoa powder on top. Had to scrape it off. We also tried the panna cotta w/ amarena cherries. The panna cotta itself was great but the cherries with the cherry juice made it too sweet. I asked about coffee and all they offer is espresso shots which I thought was really odd. May be due to space for a coffee maker, not sure.
