I always love a visit to an Irish bar and this was no exception. Perfect spot to be on a cold Friday night. If you are a fan like I am of Amber ale try the Molly’s Irish Red. The special of the day was chicken pot pie which my husband said was very filling. It did have quite a bit of chicken in it. I had a bowl of the Irish potato leek soup. It was a little thin however it was very flavorful. I also had the Irish version of a grilled cheese called a toasty. Again perfect food for a cold Friday evening. Prompt service in a fun atmosphere rounded out the evening.

It’s dark and the tables are close together. Foid us delicious. Very polite, efficient servers. Potato leek soup was amazing. Fresh vegetables in the salad for added texture. Located in quaint downtown area. Worth the detour off the highway.

Molly’s is a friendly atmosphere and has some of the best potato-leek soup I’ve ever tasted. So good. My boyfriend had the fish and chips and scarfed it down. I left my purse like a dope and their very kind bartender and manager held it for me to come get it that night. 10/10 we’ll be back again.

The whiners in these reviews go into an Irish pub in Old Town Warrenton and expect white linen tablecloths and stuffy decor. That is NOT what this place is about. If you embrace the atmosphere and appreciate the rib sticking pub grub, you will come back time and time again. I had lunch today with my lovely wife and granddaughter and it was superb. I had the gut busting “Pub Club”, my wife had a great chef salad, and my granddaughter crushed her kids menu lunch item. Our server, Alejandro, was personable and attentive, and we left happy and sated. Don’t miss this place if you are in town!

First time going: I wanted a interesting martini and the bartender suggested a Chai version. (I’m obsessed with chai so I couldn’t say no!) It’s really good, not sweet at all but that’s not a bad thing. He was very quick to get me the drink, water, and check as I requested.

Our favorite casual place in Warrenton by far. Always a great atmosphere, fantastic menu and food, and the service is very good and friendly. The Molly’s Burger is the best burger around!

I have heard about this restaurant from a lot of friends. It more than lived up to what I had heard. I ordered the cottage pie, and it was amazing, and I am not just saying it. They talk about the Guiness sauce on the menu, but when you get that first bite, it grabs your taste buds and you just don’t want to stop eating it. You will be stuffed and suffering when you walk out but as good as it is you will not complain at all.

We stopped in around 2pm. There were clearly regulars but we were treated just like one of them. Staff was amazing…and the food! The recommended meatloaf was fantastic! I usually end up taking part home but we cleared our plates! 100% worth the trip!

Met up with some friends at this cute, cozy pub. They had a lot of brews to choose from. The food was good especially the Scotch egg. The staff was friendly to attentive. My only complaint in the whole experience was that I expected Celtic or Irish Bands for the music, but it sounded like Latino. But, other than that I would recommend you stop in for a pint and and bite to eat.

Absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of charm — exactly what you’d hope for in a classic Irish pub. The food was excellent, and the seasonal specials were a real highlight — the chicken pot pie and chili were both absolutely delightful. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. It’s clear they care about creating a great experience for every guest. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back!
