UPDATE: Live Music is On!

Today was the Grand Opening. The great barrier island portion know as Cape Canaveral has longed for an Irish Pub to return on A1A, aka Jimmy Buffett Memorial Highway. Welcome Molly Maguire’s.

This is not the ideal time for a review however, I wanted to note what makes a strong foundation: Great food: The Reuben was packed full, enough to share, and amazing. The Irish Pea Salad, a heaping cup full, was the bomb. Their Irish Whiskey, Malt, and Beer selections are very good. I was personally pleased they offered Bushmills Irish Whiskey – Original. Hopefully, they will also offer Black Bush, and possibly a 16 Year.

Service is commendable. They made sure you were taken care of and make frequent table visits.

This is a small establishment with some outdoor seating. Not sure how, even if it’s in their plan, to bring live music into play. Possibly a solo or a duet type of arrangement.

Did I say that the Reuben was amazing?

Parking is a bit of a challenge when crowded. Many people parked off-premise.

From the moment we walked into Molly Maguire’s Irish Pub in Cape Canaveral, we knew it was going to be a special night — and it absolutely delivered. The ambiance hit that perfect mix of warm Irish-pub charm and lively fun: rich woods, cozy lighting, friendly chatter, and the kind of place where you feel instantly welcome.

Our server, Cody, truly made the evening. He greeted us with a big smile, intuitive service, and just the right amount of attentiveness. He knew when to check in, when to let us enjoy our meals, and offered spot-on recommendations that elevated the whole experience. Cody, you’re the man!

The food was outstanding. Each dish came out beautifully presented, hot and delicious. The flavors hit, the portions were generous — we left feeling very satisfied. The drink selection matched too; crafted with care, served with a little extra polish. The staff clearly take pride in what they do.

Add to that a clean, welcoming environment and a vibe that’s festive but not overbearing, and you’ve got a win. Whether you’re here for dinner, drinks, or just a great time, Molly Maguire’s gets it right. We’ll absolutely be coming back — and we’ll be asking for Cody.

If you’re looking for an Irish-pub gem in Cape Canaveral, your search ends here. Highly recommend!

Love me an Irish Pub! Have been anxiously awaiting the grand opening, which occurred today at 11 AM.

Stopped in for a drink and bite to eat. The food is delicious and the portion size – enough for 2 to share or expect to take leftovers home with you. Can’t wait to come back to try their take on Irish staples (bangers & mash, shepard’s pie & fish and chips.)

Shared a Ruben which was very good and had a taste of the Guinness pie – ohh my!!! To freaking die for.

Our waitress, Wanda, was great and Chris, he was great and was EVERYWHERE helping as needed with a smile and time to talk and receive feedback.

The food was good and the draft Guinness was smooth and silky, as it should be. Service was exuberant and maybe a bit inebriated, as the Irish may be. Atmosphere richly displayed its Irish character, including gold leaf paintings on the table. The crowd was a bit rowdy for a seaside Sunday night, adding to the pub character. Give her a try and see if she’s to your liking.

Chris is great! We definitely appreciate him. His personality is lovely and he made our experience amazing! He is kind and very helpful and attentive. Thank you! The food is also really tasty and the portions are huge! All in all, they make you feel like you are one of their own here and the atmosphere is lovely. Couldn’t have picked a better place to eat and hang out before our cruise! Thank y’all so much! Thank you, Chris!

Imagine Tip a Few with an St. Patrick’s overlay. More of an Irish-themed bar than an authentic Irish pub experience (see Nolan’s just S at A1A and SR 520). Still a great local haunt, just with more shamrocks!

Traveling thru the Space Coast, I found Molly Maguire’s. Being from the actual community in PA where the Molly Maguires revolted against the coal companies, made me want to investigate. Amazing! Katie is great at all aspects of this small business. Fish & chips-great! Shepherd’s pie -terrific. Great ambience…love the coal mine ceiling! She runs a good balance between hospitality and business. Definitely a must do!

I have visited more than 30 major cities and towns across 8 states this year alone, and I am a passionate beer drinker and self-proclaimed Rockstar whenever I walk down a sidewalk and spot an Irish pub. This is an absolutely fantastic public house.

I came with a friend I had not seen in years, and a work friend of hers. Everyone had a fantastic time, and the service was exactly what the spirit of an Irish pub is all about. Comfortable, happy atmosphere, people laughing and tilting their glasses, the band picking and strumming and booming away…

I did not eat, but my two lady friends each had the Shepherd’s Pie, which I tasted, and briefly achieved Food Nirvana.

Thank you all for a fantastic experience and an unforgettable time during my wild, wild road trip.

Bobby and our male server seem like really warm, inviting people, and I was SO surprised this place is new!!!

I have worked in bars and restaurants that took years to get to the high level of execution and teamwork that I saw at Molly Maguire’s Irish Pub.

Well done, Paddies, and ERIN GO BRAUGH!!!

We visited right after they opened and we sure did like it the food the atmosphere of the service was excellent. I don’t know what has happened but the atmosphere reminded me of the old bar that used to be there, after you order no one checked on you three people that were working there are just stood in the corner and chatting with each other. I guess the waiter was new so he didn’t have a clue of what they had or what they didn’t have which is understandable I guess when you’re new. The food was only subpar we got the Irish nachos I think they’re called the first time we went they were excellent this time they felt very short of the expectations. we got the shepherd’s pie, and it was fair. Really disappointed because I thought this was going to be a place we would frequent after our first visit.
