Old, cold country themed restaurant. Wonderful people, vast menu, but they serve bland, unseasoned food. Salt and pepper are on the table, but I prefer this dining out scenario:

About the best breakfast ever. Took mom out for breakfast before wife and I left for New Mexico and was just amazed at everything. Good portions were huge, and the food was perfectly cooked, service was fast and the waitress was great.

Molly’s was a bit disappointing. Got the Louisiana skillet. It was good, but I expected much more heat, which is the reason I ordered it. Fortunately there were 4 bottles of different hot sauce on the table to help address the issue. The corner booth by the window was really quite lovely and coffee was warm and tasty, until it wasn’t. And because the 11 o’clock hour was suddenly packed with only one server, I never got the refill I asked for during the entire 15 minutes I spent eating breakfast. It’s also a bit pricey (20 bucks with the tip).

Nice diner near the Portage Lakes. We had breakfast on a Thursday morning. The place was not crowded, and we were seated immediately. The breakfast selections are your typical breakfast items. I ordered the senior #2, which consists of an egg, sausage, and French toast. I had the over easy with links. Breakfast was pretty good. Coffee was continuous. The meal was under $10. Service was great. I will be back.

Their country gravy is the best I’ve ever had! Seriously, our new fave spot! We have not tried the lunch/dinner options however we will!

This restaurant was just OK. Nothing overly stellar; the waffle wasn’t very good, but the veggie omelet was pretty good. Service was fair at best. Overall I rate it 7/10

This is my third time here and Molly Browns is great, the menu is diverse with many offerings that I have not seen elsewhere and each time the food was excellent. The restaurant is clean, the staff worked hard and were courteous, the prices were extremely reasonable especially when you consider how generous the portions are. Molly Brown’s is just a really nice place to have breakfast. There their pancakes are perfect! I have always gotten top-notch service there, the food is always served hot and is oh, so delicious…. and the price is right! I usually dine at the Molly Brown’s on Portage Lakes but the one located in Ellet is also praiseworthy.
