I decided to give myself a break today from making breakfast. The decision was great. Food excellent, cooked to perfection. I got Paul Bunyan, a nice amount of everything, pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs, and shredded potatoes. $14.99

Their omelets are unmatched anywhere that I have ever been, portions are large, definitely will not be hungry when you leave. They also have a family breakfast that will feed a family of 4 for multiple meals.

This was my second time here. First time was just fine. This time I was less impressed. It was one hour before closing but it felt like it was closing. I was in a bit of a hurry so ordered my food. Server had to come back to verify a piece. Ok fine. Had some not great coffee that I forgot I would never get again. Order comes out missing an included condiment, wrong toast, and no additional condiment I ordered, kitchen guy was gone. Waitress finally comes back, I ask about the condiments says she’ll be right back with them. 10mins later, she comes to top off coffee. Apparently it was someone else’s fault. I was just over it at that point. Finished eating a bit more and left.
But hey, at least it only cost me $18.

I tried the breakfast twice before leaving a review. Both times the portions were very generous. The first time was the corned beef hash with sliced potatoes and eggs. The potatoes were larger than most home fries, which I did not really care for. They were not bad, just not my thing. The corned beef hash was house made, which is why I chose it. They did not live up to my expectations. It tasted very good, but there were hard grizzle pieces in several bites. I thought it could just be an exception. It should have been trimmed better to avoid that. The second visit I had the country breakfast with eggs, sausage patties, hash browns, house made biscuits, and sausage gravy. I much preferred the hash browns to their style of home fries. The biscuits were great. The sausage gravy was ok, but didn’t stand out. The coffee was good and both times the service was excellent. There was a small wait each time as it was a Saturday and the restaurant is popular. My recent visit I had the veggie omelet with hash browns and sourdough toast. The toast was very large and good. The omelet was awesome and pretty large. A really good meal.
