If you haven’t tried the chicken steak at Molina’s, you are seriously missing out! Perfectly seasoned, juicy, and grilled just right — this is comfort food done right. The sides were the perfect match — that classic rice and beans with crispy chicharrón and sweet plantains? Absolute perfection.
You can taste the love in every bite, and the portions are generous enough to make you want a nap after (in the best way possible). Whether you’re local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop at Molina’s. The chicken steak alone is worth the trip!

Best place for Cuban food in the area. Their ox tail, Vaca frita, lechon, morros, cameron, and just about everything we tried was great. Staff was very friendly (though if you go, make sure to have a Spanish speaker in the party), we were seated promptly and the food came hot and fresh.

A most amazing meal, fish & shrimp in butter sauce was amazing. The chicken noodle soup tasted like Grandma’s, it was the best appetizer ever.

What happened to this place? Arrived at lunch and empty. Last three visits have been disappointing so I’m will not return. Order pan con bistec with extra grilled onions. It arrived with three pieces tiny raw onions and had no flavor. Cheap Cuban bread for $15 what a let down. No flavor at all how do you get this wrong. Better at a food truck. Waiter could care less and brought us cold coffee. Really!
Bad management! I see why this place has gone down hill. And all thy and over priced.

What a find! I stumbled across this diner by accident and couldn’t have been happier. The food is amazing, the prices are unbeatable, and the atmosphere feels absolutely authentic. The staff are warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

Honestly, best cuban food in Hialeah. I always get the Vaca Frita and it never disapoints, super crispy and lots of lime. The Moro rice is actually flavorful too, not dry like other spots. Service was fast even though it was busy on a Monday

Tried Molinas Ranch for lunch , the restaurant is huge perfect for large parties, the menu is large too, food was delicious and came out fairly quick. The drinks were good and the service was 10/10. Recommended 100% , they also have the outside window for the coffee.

It was okay, great service and big portions!
What
I got a couple of items to share – Plantain chips, fried fish and liver steak (bonus Oxtail). The plantain chips came out warm, not sure if it is homemade or not, I do appreciate that it wasn’t salty and the dipping sauce for this was great great (be warned, garlic-y), the liver steak was okay, cooked well with the onions on top. The fried fish I wish was better, it was not fresh.. so we got the oxtail which was so tender and soft! Very surprised by that. The mixed season rice has these pork rinds on it and it was no where near chewable… The white bean soup has okay, but it had pork/meat which I was surprised it had.
Environment
It was very late for me, so I didn’t see much on the outside, but I was able to park very close to the restaurant on the back. The inside was very spacious with a lot of booth seating.
Niceness of the staff
Very nice staff and attentive. I wish that the waiter was a little more descriptive about the dishes though. i.e when I asked about the white bean soup, they left out the important details that there was pork in the soup as well. The server was very nice to swap out the fish dish that was not as fresh but I was surprised that the cost did not reflect the new dish name…
Dollar
It was mid-pricing. The total for the 3 dishes was 80.
Yes
I will try somewhere else.

Visited this past Sunday with a friend to have dinner. There was no wait at all and were seated promptly. The service was very good and very attentive. We ordered two meals. One was the ground beef picadillo with moros and maduros, the other was the palomilla steak with black beans, rice and maduros. Both plates were great except for the maduros. The taste was as if the oil that they were fried in was old. Pricing for what we had was reasonable and the atmosphere was nice.
