My friends turned me on to this family owned Italian restaurant. I have tried multiple dishes and have to say each one was delicious. I especially enjoyed the Chicken Francese and Chicken Marsala with fresh mozzarella over the top. The coal fire pizza was very good. Owners are always so nice and accommodating.

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten! I’ve been to all the famous pizzerias in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and New Haven, and this pie can stand up to any of them. It’s what I would consider New Haven style: brick-oven, crunchy (no flop), and topped with the best meats and cheeses. We had spicy salami and hot vinegar peppers drizzled with the delicious olive oil that they leave on the table. They also have lots of Italian desserts like bomba (hard chocolate shell) and tartufo (no hard chocolate shell).

Awesome Italian comfort food and absolutely the best pizza around! if you want to dine on authentic Italian food like momma makes this should be your go to when around this neck of the woods, hubby and I have enjoyed probably over 20 years of eating here once with our children now flying solo, the owners are extremely friendly and you feel like you’re eating at someone’s home instead of a restaurant, go enjoy good food at affordable prices with good people! Don’t forget desserts too!

I ordered a personal pizza, and with some miscommunication, a large was brought out. Thankfully, the pizza was great, and I ate the whole thing. Old school feels here, and the owner is very engaged..refreshing to see.

Went with a group of 12. I ordered an egglant sandwich with bread on the side. It was the smallest portion I have ever been served. Overly breaded and too salty. The pizzas looked good. The place itself is pretty rundown looking. Doubting would ever go back.

Subs are small and highly priced. The food was good, but I still don’t recommend this place because paying $25 for 2 subs is not worth it.

First off we were greated with “Do you have a reservation?” I responded with “Did we need one?” To which she responded by walking away. After a few minutes we were seated. We received our drinks promptly and placed our order. They brought over one appetizer for mozzarella sticks when we ordered 2. We told the runner we would need another one which she brought quickly. Not a big deal things happen. After that they brought a tiny piece of Italian bread for us to share. I’m talking 3 inches long for 4 people. After that never saw our waitress again. Finally another waitress stops at our table to see how we are doing. Mind you we have been here over an hour by this point. My husband responds we are still waiting for our entrees. They come right out. You can tell they have been sitting a while all the sauce on the dishes have a thin layer over them indicating they have been drying for a while. Food probably would have been good if they had served it when it was done. Quickly ate and left. Didn’t feel like waiting another hour for dessert. Not what we were expecting at all. Probably
will not visit there ever again. Not to mention the hall to the bathroom (which is right next to the counter) was exceptionally dirty leading me to wonder whow clean the rest is.
