One of the best Indian meals we’ve ever had. Crispy poppadoms and amazing dips set the scene, with incredible onion bhajis to start along side tandoori chicken wings.
Our mains were giant tandoori prawns, fresh and tasty served on a bed of red onions and the sweetest peppers… with a korma sauce on the side. The meat in the lamb bhuna was soft and tender and the spices just right. The vegetarian Aloo Gobhi was really special too. The freshly made naan and chapati added the crowing glory to an Indian restaurant which is among the best in these islands. Staff were absolutely lovely throughout, warm and welcoming and genuine. Top class all round.

Had a really lovely night, we were seated straight away and we ordered the cocktail special spicey margaritas, the restaurant was busy which is great to see a local restaurant doing well, we placed our order and were served some complementary poppadoms very promptly. I ordered the chicken tikka karahi it was the best curry I think I’ve ever had ( no exaggeration). We passed on dessert but did have two Irish coffees to finish off the night. Well done Moksh keep up the good work, can’t wait to go back .

Fantastic experience
We came for a date night dinner before a concert, and ended having one of the best meals we’ve ever had.
The service was perfect and friendly, the servers were quick and efficient but never felt rushed.
I had the Quail special, firstly, it was so impressive and refreshing for a chef to cook and sell such a lovely piece of game in a city that mostly serves chicken.
The meat was delicate and cooked to perfection, the sauce was out of this world. I took the rest of the sauce home a for spicy breakfast.
Would definitely recommend, if you live in Derry you must try Moksh, if your visiting it’s most definitely worth the stop.
Amazing

Food was great but me and my 3 friends had an unfortunate experience of waiting over an hour for our food whilst all the other tables have been served. The staff seemed compassionate (at first) however it looked like everyone avoided confronting us when we asked for an appropriate recompensation. Ultimately we left we a slight discount but nowhere near a fair amount for the wait and the way it’s all been handled. As someone working in hospitality I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant: they don’t care about being fair and they lacked empathy.

Just had excellent meal in the Moksh Indian Restaurant, Spencer Rd, Londonderry N.I. The food quality was high and the service was superlative. I had a lovely chicken korma meal with basmati rice. Then I had a beautiful sweet Indian dessert. And I enjoyed a couple of Pornstar Martinis too! I sent details of my pleasant experience to my family WhatsApp group. And I’m happy to write this review too. I’ll be back!
