This place was really good. We got the all you can eat sushi for three people at a very reasonable price. There is a fee if you do not eat everything, so don’t order too much! It also included appetizers and desserts, making this one of the best value dinners in Chambana. The service was decent. Clearly they’re still getting organized, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. No liquor license as of yet is the only major downside.

Update in 2021.6.14 — Used to be my favorite place but the service quality has significantly dropped making me very upset. First we waited more than 25 minutes outside the door after their official opening hour (the staffs were late for 15 minutes and they kept ignoring us after they arrived). The waitress was hesitated in providing additional wasabi and she said I will have to take away the leftover wasabi (for god sake it’s only wasabi) and reluctant in filling water. Finally the food amount and quality has reduced and the unagi was not as good as previous years. The amount of sashimi was significantly reduced. I used to drive for two hours just for this restaurant a couple of times but I don’t think I will come back again. Sad.
(this review is two years ago) Love this place. Fancy and tasty with a reasonable price. Lunch buffet is highly recommended!!

Short verison – Tasty, very affordable prices and great staff. I recommend eating here.
Long verison –
I have eaten sushi my entire life. High end joints, traditional, non-traditional contemporary, conveyer belt, buffet and so on.
That being said, I believe it’s important to understand and appreciate the differences between each “type” of sushi restaurant.
My son and I come here for value, and because we are treated very well. While prices may vary over time, currently, the price per person for “All You Can Eat” sushi is roughly 30 bucks. We usually order a RIDICULOUS amount of nigiri (as sashimi isn’t an option on the all you can eat menu) This is probably a good idea, as we can eat our weight in sashimi.
After eating enough sushi to feed a small army, I casually mentioned it was my son’s birthday. Not to ask for free dessert or anything. The owner ended up gifting my son a GC to the restaurant for his birthday. How cool is that? We are very grateful!
Again, definitely recommend.
And to the owner, sushi chef and staff, Thank you!

I think the service was overall very nice, maybe because they were only having 2-3 tables while we were there…both the waitress and waiter were very friendly, and the waiter responded to our request quickly. The waitress warned us that for all-you-can-eat, every extra piece left when check out will be charged for extra dollar, so we ordered carefully. Rolls were good, but used way too many avocado, mayo sauce, cheese and cream. American Japanese maybe, but not for people who’s looking for real authentic Japanese foods.

TL;DR: Would recommend. We had a great time here!! The AYCE is $30/person, which is what we went with. For appetizers, we had the takoyaki and shumai, which were both delicious. We also got a small seaweed salad, which was good too. They’re pretty small, but it worked out considering we needed room for the amount of sushi we ordered haha. I don’t remember the names of all the sushi rolls we got, but we tried a lil bit of everything – eel, tuna, salmon, crab – and it was so tasty! They didn’t initially give us any ginger, but we requested some and they happily obliged. In terms of service, the place seemed to be only run by two people – a chef and a server. With this in mind and the amount of people in the restaurant, I felt like our service was just fine and the wait time was reasonable. Finally, they automatically included an 18% gratuity on the bill.

I came to Champagne to have lunch with a friend. We both love sushi so we went to Moki.
I was not disappointed at all.
The sushi was so good and so fresh!
If I lived closer I would definitely be eating here a lot more often!!!
The inside is beautiful and open and very clean as well.

Waited for 50 mins for sushi on a slow day. The sushi wasn’t anything to write home about. We ordered the unlimited dinner for 2 people. They brought us an extra roll that we didn’t order, then tried to charge us for the extra roll that was left over (that we didn’t order). Subpar sushi with slow service; would not recommend. Sakanaya, Ko Fusion and Sushi Ichiban are all better than this place.

Absolutely worth it! They have an all you can eat for 30$ (plus 18% service tax included in the bill) and its amazing. But there is a catch you gotta finish everything you order in your sitting or they charge 1$ per piece you waste and you can’t take a box. But the Sushis are really worth it.

Best all you can eat japonese food in Champaign Il ❤️ I really like this place, very good sushi for the price! All you can eat for only $24.99, it is amazing! Just be careful with the amount of food that you ask, because if you do not eat you will have to pay $1 for each piece that is left in the plate. Also, the nigiri is very good! Big pice of fish in each nigiri!

My favorite sushi place. Amazing quality sushi and for a very fair price. I always come here for their nigiri, and the best part is that their fish to rice ratio is perfect. Other all-you-can-eat sushi places purposely add a lot of rice to make you full quickly, but this place is very generous. Fish is also very fresh, and owners are friendly. In the first picture from top to bottom, I had a sunny roll, a bunch of nigiri: 6 tuna, 2 red snapper, 3 ika, 6 salmon, 2 scallop, 2 ikura, 1 surf clam, 3 tako. For my second round from top to bottom, 2 ika, 6 salmon, 4 scallop nigiri
I’ve seen past reviews that criticize their service, and although I do agree that it is on the slower side, you go to restaurants specifically for the food not the service. The staff are nice and eager to help when you need it.
