Cashier said it was her first day. She did a great job of answering all my questions. Fast, friendly service. Food was delicious but my sandwich was smaller than I’d expected. Seemed smashed, I think it’s just because the egg was so flat. The Red White and Brew might be the best cold coffee drink I’ve ever had( and I’m 56 years old. I’ve had ALLOT of coffees). Can’t wait to try the coffee cake. A bit pricy, but which coffee place isn’t nowadays. Decent prices compared to some other places. I spent $17 for a breakfasts sandwich, small coffee and piece of cake.
Great place.

Great coffee and food! Pistachio latte was fabulous. Gluten free options, gluten free bread was tasty, not terribly dry like it sometimes can be. Excellent place to stop as you travel through that isn’t just low quality fast food. Very friendly staff.

Mokas was a great alternative to a fast food chain while traveling along the interstate. We stopped for gas and lucked out with Mokas as our food option. The place was clean, the staff were very friendly, and the food options were varied to satisfy everyone.

A hidden gem! Traveling I-70 to and from Denver, we’ve stopped at various fast food places North and South of the interstate with mediocre experiences at best. We’ve even stopped here at 24/7 Travel for gas, overlooking Mokas Cafe thinking it was just a coffee shop. On this trip we stopped at Subway next door first only to find they were out of bread. In a hurry to beat approaching weather we got gas and figured we’d pick up snacks inside 24/7 Travel as McDonald’s didn’tappeal to us. Noticing an ad for a sandwich at Mokas on the way in we decided to check it out. We were a little skeptical until we saw the menu. I got a chicken cranberry wrap which was fantastic and my spouse got a turkey bacon swiss sandwich which was also very good. We could have easily chosen a dozen other offering too. They also serve breakfast items along with baked goods and smoothies. The staff were friendly, service quick and selection great. They’re only open 6 to 6 though. It’s definitely our new favorite in Colby, KS. Update: 3rd time at Mokas and it was great. That cranberry club wrap is a favorite but spouse loved the breakfast sandwich and we both enjoyed a smoothie. Sure beats fast food.
Update: again traveling from Denver to KC, we stopped here for lunch. We both ordered to turkey, bacon, Swiss sandwich. One as a duo with chicken noodle soup and chips, the other a full sandwich with apple (they sliced it for me). It did not disappoint. While eating, we evaluated our other options in the area and towns close by and agreed this is our stop on this trip. Food was hit, quick service and tasted great.
Another stop, stretching our gas to make it here from KC. Daughter was with us, her 1st time, and enjoyed her chicken pesto and coffee blend. Again food was great service fast and selection you don’t expect along I70.

We stopped for breakfast after being stranded by the closure of I70 due to weather in our way to Colorado. Nice find! The person working was doing everything from taking orders, making drinks, cooking and serving the food. My husband had a chunky monkey and the breakfast meal. Said everything was great. I had fresh brewed iced tea and a bagel. Very clean!

Absolutely love Mokas!!! Having celiac usually means, when we road trip, that I have to prepack a meal or just snack the whole day away. And we drive very frequently between KS and CO on i70!!! But Mokas is amazingly friendly and offers options to make a lot of their stuff gluten free for those of us that need it! My son also loves them and chooses them and their food over McDonalds, which is right next door, every time we go now!! We have eaten there a time or two and it’s a great place and very inviting but many times we do take-out, ordering ahead so the food is ready when we get there and it’s always done on time and ready to go!!! Can’t say enough good things about this place and those who work there!

Honestly this was probably the worst coffee shop experience I have ever had. The service was insanely slow. My husband and I both just ordered large drip coffees with milk. We waited probably ten minutes and then our coffee was cold. Not like lukewarm…cold. It tasted incredibly burned which was sort of ironic. The staff was nice enough but the service was terrible and the coffee was some of the worst I’ve ever had. I genuinely wish we had gotten coffee from the adjacent gas station, it would’ve been better.

For the price it’s not worth it. Food was bland and overpriced for what you get. I thought it would be a better option than gas station or fast food and I was sorely mistaken. $40 spent on food we threw in the garbage. I got the grilled cheese and cheddar broccoli soup, hubby got a Baja chicken wrap. The soup was really gross and the Baja chicken wrap was half hot half cold. The only thing that left with us were the smoothies, they were really sweet but the only thing worth keeping. Will definitely not stop and get food here again.

We stopped here while traveling and this was the best stop we’ve had so far. The food was great, the coffee was excellent and everything was piping hot. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. Will definitely be recommending this place!
