Whenever I’m in St Augustine, I make it a point to stop at Mojo. I love their smoky flavors and courteous staff. Always a very good meal. Start off with a Painkiller (reminds me of the Gamechanger at a SC place ) and their smoked pulled pork is delicious. Recommend their bbq beans, collards, corn. Smoked wings are very good, too. I’m a sucker for their Chipotle BBQ and MOJO BBQ. Don’t sleep on this restaurant.

Nice place just walking distance from where I was staying. Great food. Wasn’t really impressed with the Cole slaw but the fried catfish was excellent! The rest of my family enjoyed their food as well. Dave, our server was great!

I had the 3 meat with brisket, Carolina pulled pork, and ribs. The brisket was super dry. The pulled pork was decent, and the ribs were dry but had good flavor.
The Mac was delicious and the beans were good.
My oldest daughter had the chicken sandwich and liked it.
My youngest got the pit smoked chicken and barely ate any because it was so dry. They didn’t take it off the bill.
My wife’s burger was meh.

It was busy so we expected to wait. We were told twenty minute wait, it was maybe ten minutes. If you like onion rings they are a must here. Honestly they can be considered a meal instead of an appetizer. The waitress kindly offered us a half plate, perfect. Then came the meal. It did not disappoint. I got the fried chicken breast so good, but it was a lit of food. Then the banana pudding for dessert. Everything was delicious.

Mojo Old City BBQ does barbecue right. I had the beef brisket and turkey, and both were outstanding: brisket with deep smoke, great bark, and real tenderness, and turkey that was juicy and full of flavor.
The sweet potato mash was rich without being overly sweet, and the coleslaw was fresh and well-balanced. Service was friendly and fast, and for a BBQ spot this close to St. George Street, the portions are a great value. Decent sauces, solid beverage selection, great eclectic background music that’s just loud enough to hear but quiet enough it’s easy to talk.
A modern smokehouse with classic St. Augustine feel. Highly recommend.

We could smell the smoky flavor from outside and just knew we had to come here. Double checked the reviews and everyone is claiming this place is the best, and the are right. The vibes in here a cool, just your average barbecue place. The real kicker is the food! We got the ribs and the brisket and the waitress said it will be out quick. She wasn’t lying, less than 5 minutes later they came out with everything. The meat was absolutely amazing and even the sides were 10/10. They give you a range of about 5 sauces to try and all of them are great. Highly, highly recommend this place if you like anything barbecue. We will definitely be back to this delicious spot in St. Augustine.

Other posters are correct, the food needs to be hotter. That said the pulled pork is very good and the mashed potatoes are excellent. Had an Intuition IPA also excellent. Service was great, host was silent but efficient. Went on a Tuesday, fast seating and service.

So I went dec 28th around 4 pm and asked the lady for a spot for two that didn’t have much foot traffick because I have a stroller and didn’t want it to be in anyone’s way and she sat me literally on the corner booth where all the food comes out which is next to the bathroom where there wasn’t much space for ppl to walk through. So that was irritating because I told her twice and she disregarded everything I said. Food and drinks were mediocre. I came for the brisket and it was tough on the top like butter on the bottom where the fat is, it didn’t even come with pickles. The jalapeño cornbread was dry and they don’t warm it up. The collard greens didn’t have any smoked turkey in it and I looked through it. Catfish seemed like I was eating tilapia and my partner said something before I even said it out loud. Beans taste like spaghettiO’s. Ribs were no big deal. Mac is cheesy but no flavor. The only thing that was really good was the coleslaw. Thank you to whoever made that coleslaw!!
