Absolutely amazing experience every time! The fish is unbelievably fresh—far better than anywhere else we’ve tried, even for large events. Chef Jay is incredibly friendly, professional, and truly cares about his customers. From my very first visit, he made me feel so welcome and well taken care of. Since then, I’ve become a regular. The quality of the fish is outstanding, and the prices are very affordable. Hands down one of the best sushi spots around. Highly recommend!

We went here for a girls night out to have the omikase tasting menu. It was delicious! When you come in everyone sits at the counter where their are convenient hooks for your purse or bag. The set up is nice with a holder for your chopsticks and a refreshing wipe for your hands. Each section of 4-6 people has their own sushi chef that asks for your restrictions then prepares each piece for you. Our chef was great and prepped a separate piece for me when everyone else was on their Wagyu bite. The pieces were bursting with flavors. The rice was cooked to perfection. It is truly a tasting journey and by the end you are comfortably full. At the end, in case you haven’t had enough, they check to see if you would like to order any more of the tasty pieces a la carte. This is a no tipping establishment, which I love because it means that they are paying their workers a fair wage and have everything included in the pricing… oh how I wish everyone would catch up! I am already making plans to return 🙂

Obsessed with omakase & Mojo East delivered. Casual and clean spot, offering a 13-course omakase experience for $55 with a no tipping policy. Such an affordable price. The sakari yuzu sake was refreshing and sweet. My personal favorites were the salmon-foie gras, A5 Wagyu, ikura, and the shrimp-sea urchin. Thank you so much to the staff, the service was beyond, and the sushi was fresh and delicious. I’ll absolutely be back.

Ambiance (5/5): The establishment goes deep with one chef’s table in the front (~14) and then another in the back. The decorations are minimalist but clean and welcoming. The chairs are nested super close to each with hardly any elbow space.
Service (5/5): Consistent service with the drink refills along with plate clearing. I was asked if we had any allergies and I said I didn’t eat shrimp (heard a party note that she didn’t eat wagyu). The chef accommodated both of us! There is a fun part in the middle where the sparkle dust is sprayed in front of you (so if you have asthma or sensitivities be warned!)
The pace of the food felt super quick (under an hour) with hardly any wait in between each dish. If you don’t finish the prior one, they start stacking up! No tipping service!
Food: Was it the best sushi? Probably not. There was only one piece (idk what, that replaced my shrimp item) that was disgustingly fishy. Everything else tasted very fresh and savory. Most of the fish already pre-sliced but there was some prep to the garnishes.
Due to the pace, don’t expect an experience, but it was a good value for the meal.

$55 for 13 courses—great value for what you get! My favorites were the Chu-toro (med-fatty tuna), Salmon-Foie Gras, Orata (sea bream), and the Unagi (eel). Would definitely want to come back another time to try out what they change in the menu seasonally.

The staff were also very nice and attentive the entire time. They ask for dietary restrictions and allergies before the start of the omakase session. The person sat next to me was gluten-free, and the chef made accommodations and prepared the GF food separately throughout the meal.

We were a party of three for their “Omakase Set”. It is a set of 13 courses. They were really good. The flavors were really good and tasty. Some of the best I have tried. Totally recommend. The only comment I will add is that you will get satisfied but if you are hungry, you might need to grab a small bite afterwards.

The staff was amazing and helpful. Very accommodating to allergies and preferences like if you don’t eat wasabi or anything spicy (as long as you met them know)

I absolutely loved this place. Chef Paul served us. Truly amazing chef and knowledgeable in everything he gave us to try. I came here with a friend and we enjoyed every single piece. Every bite was flavorful, well balanced, fresh and the ingredients they use are high quality. I will be coming back here again with other friends and yerning to experience this meal again and again. The value is unmatched and truly an unforgettable moment.
The service is equally as impecable, the establishment is clean and quick and very welcoming. Every single staff member was kind and attentive.

Mojo East delivers a refined, intimate dining experience that balances precision, creativity, and restraint—hallmarks of a top-tier omakase. Each of the 13 courses feels intentional, with impeccable product quality and thoughtful progression that keeps the palate engaged without overwhelming it. The chef’s technique is confident, allowing the ingredients—particularly the fish—to speak for themselves, while subtle touches elevate rather than distract.

The setting enhances the experience: minimalist, calm, and focused on the counter, reinforcing the sense of trust central to omakase dining. Service is attentive and knowledgeable, striking the right balance between explanation and discretion. Overall, Mojo East stands out as a destination for those who value craftsmanship, consistency, and an elevated yet unpretentious approach to Japanese fine dining.
