Miss Moji and her husband Tumak we’re So Great when it came to the food and the service, I can definitely say my girls and I enjoyed our time here eating inside and listening to the wonderful music that they play while eating. Thank you so much. We’ll definitely be back.

My first experience trying African food. I had the Jolloff Rice, with the Assorted Meats, along with Plantains. The rice was delicious, it had a nice flavor which I enjoyed. The service was very polite, and professional, and the atmosphere was good.

Everyone is extremely kind and welcoming. I absolutely loveee coming here! On top of the homey welcoming atmosphere, the food is to die forrrr. I love their fufu and jollof rice and 1000% would recommend.

WOW! I wish I took the time to take a picture before destroying it. I kept seeing fufu and Nigerian food all over the internet and had to find a spot. I’m sad I didn’t find Nigerian food/this place sooner. The amount of fufu was more than I expected so they bless you with portion. I got the chicken and beef egusio and it’s so flavorful and savory. Soooo good. Better than what I thought it would be. Their chicken just falls off the bone, I could eat that alone. I can’t wait to order again!

I recently discovered Moji African Restaurant through Uber Eats and ordered fufu and egusi for the first time. My husband and I love exploring different cultures through food, and we truly enjoyed the meal. It was flavorful and left us wanting more.

Today, we decided to order again—but this time I called in directly to place a pick-up order to avoid Uber Eats fees. I clearly stated twice that I wanted two fufu and egusi, but the woman on the phone didn’t confirm my name, number, or payment—she just said “okay, come over” and hung up.

When I arrived (my first time visiting the restaurant), a male employee asked if I was picking up and repeated back “two vegetarian?” I corrected him again: “No, two fufu and egusi.” A woman then came out from the kitchen visibly upset, saying “You said two vegetarian!” and “You said it three times!” in a very confrontational tone. I calmly clarified again that I had ordered two fufu and egusi, not vegetarian.

After a few awkward minutes, the food was finally brought out and I paid. The man tried to lighten the mood by saying, “Sometimes people get confused,” but I didn’t appreciate being subtly blamed for their mistake—especially when I was polite and clear from the start.

Great food, but the customer service left a bad taste in my mouth. The attitude I received from the staff (especially the woman in the kitchen) was unnecessary and unprofessional. Unfortunately, this experience makes me hesitant to return.

I don’t know why this place is rated low, one of the best place to eat in Miami. We enjoyed the food. I had eforiro and pounded yam. I am surely coming back.
